Went there last year with my dad to do some fishing a full size mountain lion killed a pig right behind us! The scream/squill it led out was so loud it was trippy and Erie it happened in the brush literally right behind us when we went from the water to the trail the mountain lion seen us and was making growling sounds to warn us to stay back. Freaked us out so we left and haven’t been back since lol
Went there yesterday after watching this vid all little JIMMYS had fun with my bfs gear tho:) BTW hell drive to get there and lots of wild live roaming around!
It’s official address is “Grant Lake, San Jose, CA 95127” which should work on both google and Apple Maps. The parking lot is easy to find: First drive up quimby rd, a right on Mt Hamilton rd, and the a left into the lot. I suggest purchasing the license at Bass Pro San Jose since you can grab hooks and bait as well. Best of luck out there
