Hiking in Tasmania - Walls of Jerusalem National Park
The Walls of Jerusalem hike has got to be one of the best hikes I have ever done. I completed the Walls of Jerusalem Hike over 4 days, but the main parts of the hike leading up to Dixons Kingdom Campground can be achieved within a day, but I would recommend spending at least one night for a more fulfilling experience. In my opinion, the Walls of Jerusalem Hike would be a great 'introduction hike' for the person attempting their first multiday hike. It's relatively easy hike with a lot of stunning scenery. It would also make a great alternative to the Overland Track, as I imagine the scenery would be relatively the same.
