Good call on the water shoes! The hike looked amazing especially walking through the bamboo.. The waterfall looked beautiful so it's definitely worth the effort to get there.. I will definitely consider doing this hike next time we visit Kauai.. Thanks for sharing! 💖
Tabbis are essential for hiking on wet rocks like Makaleha Falls or the Weeping Wall, another video of ours. This hike is definitely not for beginners and it's easy to get lost because the trail is not well marked. If you do visit, I hope you get a chance to do a hike or two because it is simply the best way to experience the island.
Y'all are so adventurous! I love hiking, but I always get nervous when I'm hiking on an unmarked trail. They're usually worth it though. This one looked like it was! The streams and scenery make it look beautiful and like it was so much fun.
Yes, this hike is definitely not for beginners for that reason. Many people don't finish the hike because they get lost. We never do a new hike alone if it's on an unmarked trail like this and if the map for it is incomplete. Luckily, Richard had done this hike before so with his memory and the gps map we were able to do it!
Wow Hawaii is so beautiful to explore! It does truly feel like paradise! I’ve only been once but I’ve wanted to go back and actually explore the islands!
Each island is very different I've been told. Kauai is known to be the best for hiking and nature because it has very little development and population compared to the other islands. I encourage you to do your research and see which one is the best fit for you!
Hiking doesn't need to be up massive mountains, it's as simple as a walk in the woods. I encourage you to get offline and go for a walk in nature, see how you like it.
