Hi there, I appreciate your videos and that you actually steady the camera enough to get good views of the rock textures and such. Since you were asking, I'd say that the long rusty trough in the beginning is a spiral (screw) classifier/conveyor.The partition on the right side is where the drive system would go and the pipes in the bottom would either allow for fluidization or as drains for dewatering and slimes.
That is the Red Chispa claim you're looking at@19:24 , right? The Prosecutor's Club of So Cal controlled that claim five years ago. Probably still does. That claim is really good. I found my biggest nug there ten years ago. A quarter oz almost. Its very clay packed, making dry washing difficult. Detecting was really good there. Especially after a club outing when the ground was turned over by the dry washers. Great video. Keep them coming! The club dues were less than a hundred bucks a year then.
Hey man, great content on your channel. I'm new to prospecting, have only been prospecting one time down in the cargo muchacho mountains. I'm stationed on Fort Irwin near barstow. My buddy gave me his keene 151 drywasher so if you ever need a digging partner, let me know. I'll be scouting out some places real soon.
You are in a good area for metal detecting but not so much for dry washing. I use to own some property near coyote lake.. If you want a great place to dry wash... If your on Ft Irwin Rd. take a right onto Irwin Rd. and follow that down till you come to copper city rd. You'll find workings from pass mining in the area but if you have come to Dobson Rd. you have gone to far and will only be wasting your time. Good Luck!
Hey !! I live in El Paso tx just wondering how do you get to those spots ? What road do you take ? Was wondering if I can get some directions please. Thanks
you can join the pcsc (prospetor club of southern california) they have claims out there or the oc 49ers they have claims out there just a thought you ever go to the gpaa meeting in brea Ca I think 2nd saturday of the month route 66 miners look at there web page but when I went out there on a group outing (san fernando valley prospectors) (gpaa.net) every one was getting gold and decent amounts one guy got a 2.3 gram nugget (new guy) up to you next time boss
hey GGP! HDGD is high desert gold diggers. im the prez of hdgd and joe is my good bud. its kind of an unspoken thing but hdgd can use pcsc and pcsc use hdgd claims. most of the claims pcsc use are hdgd claims.
that's a ride isn't it out there by randsburg I have the el paso mining district sign coordinates on my gps hoards of claims out there you in open territory or claim if open territory cool I will have off soon gonna borrow a gmt for a few days
There are 3 GPAA claims up there and still plenty of unclaimed land but yes there are a heck of a lot of claims. Especially where the ground looks good.
@@Oidium45 randsburg is the 2nd biggest producer of gold in this state look it up on google other than the gold belt (american and yuba river) or up north by happy camp
