It makes me happy to see guys like Robert Diaz speak of my city with enthusiasm.... if you are reading this Robert, tell your boss to give you a raise... Same to the film makers...
They couldn't have chosen a better name----because it is indeed a scenic drive. Haven't been there in quite some time. I like to go in the late evening/night. It's a majestic view.
Back in 1971, when I was 24 years old and was one of students in Ft. Bliss in EL Paso from Japan. During the orientation program, they took us to Scenic drive and we enjoyed the amazing view. My friend and I are thinking of visiting El Paso next Jun, It`s going to be a exciting trip. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video. I was stationed at Ft. Bliss in 1971 and first day off walked up Scenic Drive. It was so exciting. Returned around 1983 and good to see how nice it is today.
Hi, I was in the Army defense school in Ft. Bliss from Japan in 1971 and I enjoyed the view of Scenic drive too, I am thinkin of visiting Scenic drive again next year, that will be so exciting.
Was there during when my ex was at Fort Bliss years ago during 62 to 64 We drove on the scenic drive and also went up to the section where they had those expensive really nice homes... and I also employed on Base at the Center Finance building in the accounting department processing MILITARY 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 payrolls.... at that time on Punch Cards on the data entry key punch machine as they was called at that time and verified and help compute military payroll and also instructed employees and new employees on the data entry machine and also how to program the machine I liked it and in El Paso I thought it was NICE--- We also went to Juarez about once or twice a month When he got discharged we went back to Wisconsin
In 1580, with the expedition of Friar Agustin Rodriguez and General Francisco Chamuscado standing on the side of Franklin Mounyain, looked towards Chihuahua and called that "El Valle de Valientes", which started at the foot of our mountain.
This is a very good and well thought out piece. Touching on the beauty, history and the people of El Paso, (past, present and future). Great memories!!
El Paso is a good place, if i return again to El Paso and Juarez things are going to get better, right now im in California since 1979, i wish i could go back, but im going to miss the sea
Born and raised there. Sad to see what it has become ! A sanctuary city abundant with drugs and illegal cheap labor. I left in the 1990's after slick Willie Klinton created nafta. It only got worse from there. Sad but true .😢
