Hiking Tatoosh Ridge (attempt) near Packwood

There a few ways to do this hike.
We hike via skate creek road. If you want to do the the same you should make sure skate creek road is open before you leave, It closes in the winter. In which case you would have to come through Packwood to hike/ snowshoe.
Currently the hike is clear of snow or debris.
Its starts off and remains steep. At this time, the snow starts off about 2 miles in. I tried to hike without snowshoes. I was constantly postholing so I had to turn back without finishing. I climbed a ridge for the view and headed back.
