Hiking the PCT in 2024
Mike and Caitlin are hiking the Pacific Crest Trail starting March 3rd, 2024. The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a 2650 mile hiking trail that spans from Campo CA at the Mexican border up to Manning Park, just 8.7 miles across the Canadian border. The trail starts by crossing through the desert of Southern California for 700 miles, at which point it turns to the Sierra Nevada mountains for another 748 miles, leaving another 243 miles in the northern part to complete the state of California. The Oregon portion of the trail is 455 miles long, and Washington is 505 miles long. While hiking the PCT you will backpack through 5 National Parks including Yosemite, King Secoya, Creator Lake, Rainier, and the Cascade’s. You will also journey through a edge of Joshua Tree National Park and the Mojave desert.
This is a vlog we are doing for friends, family and other PCT hikers so they can see where we have been, what we have experienced, and so you can know what to expect on the trail in 2024. We are also sharing the work that God is doing through us on our travels.
