Hiking the Watchtower in Sequoia National Park 

Its late July and spring has finally sprung in the mountains of Sequoia National Park. The Watchtower Trail has finally melted and is clear to hike. This trail has it all. Plenty of shade, wildlife (bear, dear, marmots, butterflies, birds), wildflowers, waterfalls and absolutely stunning views. We took the Watchtower Trail up and over to Heather Lake and decended via the Hump Trail.

We highly recommend this trail. It has a bit of everything and it is roughly 10 miles.
