A 17.5 mile circular route, starting at Littleborough, Oldham, and heading north onto the moors. Taking in Robin Hoods Bed and Blackstone Edge, I bagged the trig and moved on to White Holme reservoir. Turning east, I made the climb onto Manshead End and Manshead Hill before turning south. I passed along Baitings reservoir, avoided the iced cream van, and made my last trig at Dog Hill. The hills weren’t finished yet and I was forced to head back up to the top of the hill near to the TV and Radio station.
The ending to this video was so shoddy that I edited out, along with a lot of other ramblings that didn’t fit with the overall concept of ‘Pilgrim Hiker’. It was a tough day with grotty weather and it won’t go down in history as my favourite trail.
