Tive o prazer de encontrar com ele na trilha. Foi super simpático. Ele achou a travessia bem pesada. O calor do Brasil também é outro fator que tem que ser levado em conta. Parabéns pelo ótimo conteúdo de sempre Kraig
Hi Kraig. Bernhardt here. Congratulations on the video, amazing to see what you are capable of producing in such a blessed place like Brazil. I was really moved when I saw the video. And honored to have been able to help you with booking the hiking on the park website. I hope you return to Brazil soon. Once again, congratulations on your son. May he grow up very happy and healthy. Take care.
I visited Brazil a few years ago. Was only supposed to stay for a few days. Ended up staying for a few weeks hehe. Great video 😊 thanks for bringing back some memories.
I had the pleasure of meeting him on the trail. It was super friendly. He found the crossing very difficult. The heat in Brazil is also another factor that has to be taken into account. Congratulations on the always great content Kraig
Just brings me to absolute peace, this is what all humans need, simple living and nature, been watching you for years kraig, really appreciate your videos, very calming and breath taking, soul healing
Kraig , there is another nice hike in Rio de Janeiro/ Minas Gerais.from the higher part of the Parque Nacional de Itatiaia down to Visconde de Mauá. I did it 48 years ago when I was 24. It is always a pleasure watching your videos.
Sou de Petrópolis-RJ, onde fica a Serra dos Órgãos, acompanho seus vídeos faz anos. Muito maneiro saber que esteve na minha cidade, fazendo a travessia Petrópolis x Teresópolis. É uma travessia mágica!
Really glad to see you came to Brazil! I'm actually from Petrópolis but moved away when I was only 4 and have never done this crossing. It's 100% part of my dream trails list and this video is an extra motivation to accomplish this!
Unbelievable that I was on the live while you were planning it and got to see this video from my hometown from scratch. Too beautiful Kraig, amazing shots, great soundtrack, gave me goosebumps with so many memories in this place. Hope you enjoyed it and to see you back !
How incredible, Kraig! You crossed my city. The nature here is very beautiful, you only need to see it up close to know. Congratulations on the wonderful images.
Hey Kraig. I got really inspired from your Trekking, when you did the Mardi and Manaslu Trek in my home country Nepal. Keep making cool videos. We are never tired of watching it.
Next time you come to Brazil try Pico do Marumbi near Curitiba. There are several trails in the region, covering gorgeous mountains over preserved Atlantic Forest, with awesome views. You can spend a month exploring all of them without moving very far. Also, not as hot as Rio.
Your videos literally inspired me to hike and backcountry camp alone! My short term goal is to hike the howe sound crest trail and wake up with a sea of mountains outside my tent as a core memory thanks to u 🙏
I'm a big fan of the channel, I was super happy when I saw that I was coming to walk around here. I hope you enjoyed our country. The video was beautiful!
I live in Teresópolis and this hiking is really hard. Congratulations. I did a hike to Pedra do Sino once and it was pretty cool. Hope you enjoyed our town and be always welcome to come back. :D
Good Kraig, you have to come to the interior of Rio, discover the beauty of the Itatiaia National Park and also cross the Serra Fina. A hug, I really admire your videos.
Wow, what an incredible solo hike! The scenery from Rio de Janeiro to Teresopolis looks absolutely stunning. Your journey through Bride's Veil Waterfall, Morro Açu Campsite, and Portais de Hercules is so inspiring. Thanks for sharing this amazing adventure and all the detailed info. Brazil has some breathtaking landscapes, and your video captures it perfectly! Outstanding drone shots as well 👌Have a great day! Cheers, Simon - Tales From Abroad
Well done on the video. Life has been funny lately. Despite all the noise and nice things in town, my heart still feels nothing. I had planned to hike in July, but it seems like the weight needs to be lifted off as soon as possible. Luckily, I found your video, which somehow lifted bits of it. Hence, thanks for letting me see this beauty, and best of luck on your next journey!
I can`t believe you were recently in Teresopolis! If I kwew, I would have tried to stop by and say hi and meet you in person. I`m a fan of your work for a while now. The mountain region of Rio de Janeiro is just amazing. I no longer live in Rio, but whenever I have the chance, I travel to Teresopolis. It`s such an amazing place, extremely blessed and beautiful. Petropolis also. Thank you for giving us such an amazing view of the region. I`m missing it already!
Nice to see you here! We crossed paths in Landmannalaugar, Laugavegur trail! I'm returning to Iceland this summer to Laugavegur again! You should have come to Serra dos Rio do Rastro, Santa Catarina. Canyons crossing trail! Idyllic!
Welcome, man!!! This hiking is one of the best in Brazil! Come to Vale da Mantiqueira, there is the Serra Fina Trail and much more! Also, go to Parque Nacional do Itatiaia! Salut!!!
So happy that you came to the best state in Brazil and did some of our best tracks. Hoping you get back here and meet other magical places such Jalapao, Minas Gerais and all of their tracks, Mount Roraima, Chapada dos Veadeiros, PETAR and a lot of other beaitful trails. Its such an amazing feeling to see you recording the trails and tracks ive beem doing since i was a kid, thank you!
"best state in BR"? by whom? not even top 5. but the trekking itself is amazing (I did it last year), and Rio city is amazing (but please let's not start with the huge problems related to it - lived there for 5 years, glad I did it and glad I left).
This is such a tribute to us in Brazil and especially in Rio, the city where I live and love, thank you for that Kraig! I will watch it with my family and friends! 💛
Hey Kraig! I was looking forward to this video! Great, as always. I did both hikes and it was good to see them again. Hope you can come back soon, there is so much to hike/see.
Wow, such a really good view, the mountain looks like Mount Huangshan(China), I truly hope that you can come to China to hike, or just experience the scenery here.
Beautiful region but very challenging to hike and navigate. The mountains are not super high but very rocky, steep and covered by super-dense tropical vegetation. I walked a tiny trail a bit south in the same range in the SP state and it was quite an effort.
I love the background tunes, but sometimes I just put on some classic jazz to accompany your gorgeous videography majesty and my whole worldview shifts
