The manufacturing quality of the camera optics itself can make such a difference. 9 out of 10 Hikvision cameras have poor focus at least on some parts of the field of view. Especially after switching the mechanical IR cut filter off.
Hey mate do you know if i bought a HiLook 8mp bundle, in the future would that nvr be able to run darkfighter if i wanted to add 1 or 2? Ie out the front
In some cases it maybe better if you have enough ambient light around. Also without the IR will stop reflections. We are starting to film footage now with both IR on and off to give a comparison.
I am a professional installer. This is totally wrong comparison. Hilook T280 is non starlight (night vision is darker) and non smart motion sensors. It is based on old technology. I don’t know why he didn’t compare with new T281 model which is latest technology cameras. It is starlight (Brighter Night vision) and smart motion detect. T280 Hilook has only 12.5FPS so, obviously blur when the object is moving. But new T281 model is 20FPS. It is much smoother and clearer. Hikvision 2365 has 20FPS. You need to compare apple with apple. Not apple with melon. You need to avoid this kind of unprofessional security reseller. They are totally unprofessional.
Thanks for you comment. It is simply a comparison between cameras to show the difference. If you look at our channel we do many comparisons. There are obviously many cameras to choose from with all with different specifications and technology. At the time of this video being shot and produced T281 hadn’t been released yet. The T280 and 2365 are now EOL and really not option anymore unless you are purchasing old stock.

@@angelinaorio thanks for your opinion. In no way is it meant to be confusing. In fact we do get asked what’s the difference between HiLook and HikVision since they are both manufactured by HikVision. Being in the industry you would know the cost difference between the two and why would one pay more or less for a camera. Once again appreciate your thoughts and feedback.
