Hikvision Door Phones Are Finally Standalone Trough New Firmware KV6113 / KV8113 / KV8213 [PREVIEW]. We’ve got a new firmware update for the Hikvision Door Phones, that we have anticipated so much, because it just had to be changed, it just felt wrong that there was no such a functionality. I mean, Wi-Fi door phones with P2P support, which are eventually displayed in the Hik-connect phone app but only through a monitor. And a lot of people asked Hikvision for this. So thanks to the added functionality in the last firmware update, you no longer need the monitor to use the full functionality of the door station, and to display the device in Hik-connect on your phone - no more. In fact, all that we’ve done is we activated the panel, assigned it the correct address in our network, and updated the firmware. Now you add it to the Hik-connect app on the phoneand instantly get access to the full functionality! And what’s awesome - no any extra actions, you just scan the QR code - and that's it, the door station is now in your account. The thing is that earlier it literally didn’t work. Nor the code scanning or the manual adding a device did nothing, it could only be added via the monitor. And now boom - and that's all!

I have a problem with shared devices. When ring button on ringbell is pressed only on main account registred via hik connect app is ringing but not on others shared devices.

Hello! Can you help me please with an advice or information? 1 have a ds-kh6320-wte2 and I get no call from the intercom when may app is closed or in the background. I receive the call/notification only if the hik-connect app is opened in that specific moment you call from the outside post. Theoretically it is useless, who keeps the app always opened?

Just bought the KV 6113 doorbell and upgraded the firmware. However, I'm losing video after a couple of hours. So when someone calls or when I try to view live view though the app, I have no video. It keeps getting stuck loading around 80%. I googled and see a lot of people have this issue. Is there a fix to this?

Is the push notification and call feature available in Firmware_V2.2.65_231213? I purchased the DS-KV8213-WME1(C) and have completed all configurations, but I'm unable to receive push notifications or receive calls without an internal device. Even with an internal device, I can only receive calls and not push notifications for motion detection.

Every Ring Button is calling. I can not choose between the Fall Buttons, which Hik Connect App is for Room1 and Room2 and Room3 and Room4. Every hit call All :-(

First of all, sorry for my bad English. I have the DS-KV6113-WPE1 bell and I can't get it to record videos when moving. I've tried different micro SD cards but somehow it doesn't work. I can't find the item storage anywhere in the camera's menu. Can it be that this function still has to be activated?

So they have made the unit standalone with the firmware however one functionally that doesn't work is the snapshots on the hik-connect app. When someone calls and you miss it usually you would get a snapshot (photo) of the person that calls. In this case it just shows a generic bell icon. Have you experienced this or is there some work around that you know of? I have tried everything including contacting hikvision however they would have to have the most atrocious customer service of any company I have dealt with.

I am struggling to get mine working with a 12 V power supply only. it needs to be directly wired from the router to work. I have enabled hik connect, so assume it should work as a free standing unit with only 12 V power supply? If I unplug the network cable it remains powered but goes offline. Can you help? Any suggestions?

Sorry if the is a stupid question but apart from integrating with your HIKVision CCTV system will it actually ring a bell, so that if you are home you necessarily have to have your phone with you to know someone is at the door?

no at the moment it is not possible to decide between the buttons without displays... so you would get a call on each button on the linked devices !

Works on my 4-button doorbell too! But I wonder how can I make it call me on my phone only when 1 specific button is pressed? Right now it sends notifications for all of the buttons.

I followed the above steps and it would not connect via qr code. I had to input the IP address of the device in a browser and click enable hik connect. The stream encryption you set is then used in Hik Connect but it's called verification code instead 🙃

Hello, Where do I find the newest firmware for this DS-KV6113-WPE1? Also, I uploaded old firmware by accident and now needs a password reset because my current password does not work. Any way to TFTP to the device to do a hard reset? no physical reset button (for obvious security reasons)

you can hard reset via tftpd and usb TTL interface . you must stop the boot by pressing any key , follow the instructions ... its like... press U and give tftpd server address. it will ask if you want to set the device config to default. there is a 4pin ttl port near the SD-card slot. you only need tx,rx,gnd .. never connect 5v ! google tftpd ttl hikvision, you will find many tutorials without a ttl interface you are only able to upload firmware via tftpd, because its implemented in the bootloader to look for 192.0.0.128 tftpd server first.

If you miss a door-ring, do you get a small movie file of the visitor? Like 5 sec before ring up to 30 seconds after the ring? Or if I hook this up to a Hikvision DVR: can I program that?

Does not work as doorbell, does not record video, does not record image when bell is pressed only works with NVR as intercom not smart doorbell - video is misleading and should be removed or updated

So you’re making video for firmware with release date - 2020-10-09 , 2 months later?! You have 2 months to test all the functions that are missing from the previous release, but you did not! You didn’t mention which firmware version was used in your video and thanks to the comments it is possible to find it. The last “professional” thing was to comment that this version is not stable and need to wait for stable version?! wtf... DON’T MAKE VIDEOS JUST TO SELL THINGS THAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE!!! Double check every single difference between old and new firmware and then show your findings with the world. Or just stop trying to fool people and brick their devices...

I installed it and other than the notification setting not being persistent and the web management not available on port 80, everything seems to work ok. Thanks for you review by the way. Because of your review I just bought this particular doorbell.

@@piplsystems Dont work with KV8113 !!!! in the Firmware tutorial: "Villa door station support adding to Hik-connect directly. Supported models are only KV6113-PE1 and KV6113-WPE1"

Use the 2.2.45 firmware located here www.hikvisioneurope.com/uk/portal/?dir=portal%2FProduct+Firmware%2FHikvision%2FAccess+Control+%26+Video+Intercom%2FVideo+Intercom%2FSecond+Generation+Video+Intercom%2FVilla+Door+Station%28B%29 When I updated my door station the unit did a factory reset.

@@securitypartner7418 The firmware from the video above is actually this one www.hikvisioneurope.com/uk/portal/?dir=portal/Product%20Firmware/Hikvision/Access%20Control%20%26%20Video%20Intercom/Video%20Intercom/Second%20Generation%20Video%20Intercom/Villa%20Door%20Station%28B%29/V2.2.3_200805 This is the version that allows it to connect to hik vision cloud. But with this you lose web access. The web portal is available only after the first boot, when you set the password. Then it disappears. Actually it runs but you cant login because the page login.asp is not found. And also the notification settings are lost after a reboot. You have to disable/enable them again.

@@florino.8813 Hello, can you help me with it please? i didnt know that it switches off the web access, how to downgrade it? I cant now set my wifi password. :(( ... i am also not able to use it productively (i have KV6113 ). ..is there any chance to solve this situation please?

@@xdjrazorx I found out that only HTTP access is cut off. HTTPS access works just fine. So try access it through HTTPS and you should have same access as before, but with the new web interface. I kept this software version. For me it works ok.

Yes you can add a user and then enrol a card. Oddly enough I tried using the card that came with the door station but it wouldn’t work. Tried a couple of cards that came with a Samsung lock and they both worked.

Does not work as doorbell, does not record video, does not record image when bell is pressed only works with NVR as intercom not smart doorbell - video is misleading and should be removed or updated. No it does not record to memory card

@@gastondebahia I have heard that video can be recorded by Hikvision NVR, I don't know what the experience is with Dahua sorry... but a still image will not be sent with notification to your phone

@@speedysmithy the notifications are actually showing in my phone . It is working whit the stand-alone firmware and it does perfect. It took less than a second to ring in the app Hik-Connect en two phones.

Hello. Your video is misleading, inaccurate and should be removed or updated. Its not STANDALONE even with the very latest firmware because you need an NVR! It does not work as a smart doorbell, does not record video, does not record image to memory card when bell is pressed only works with NVR as intercom not smart doorbell. Please make this clear thanks.

lol you dont need nvr, stop talking. no one talked about recording ... it make a snapshot on button press and send it to the app. the update to record on internal sdcard will come in a few month , but its not recommended to do it... because if someone steal your camera, your record files are lost. also its illegal in the most european countries to record public ground without a reason (street).

Can the DS-KV6113-WPE1 be connected to NVR using PoE (for recording) and in parallel get connected to HIK-Connect via Wifi for intercome (sound & video) and door opening functions?
