There are some cameras in the V380 that don't have a lane port on the back, so the DVR can't be set like any other V380 IP camera. But the DVR can be set through the URL link of that camera. I will be very happy if you make a video in that way .
Very good video! Most of the new Hikvision NVR's now have built in PoE, so its all plug and play as long as you use Hikvision IP cameras. You just plug in the camera and the NVR does all the work for you!
have question but first of all many thanks brother for good work. you have very good elaboration skills and you made it quite clear from the diagram. But I have one confusion from your video which is eye opener for me. ....... you unlike others have connected nvr and poe both to your router where as other videos show POE to be connected to NVR and not router whereas they only connect NVR to router..... In this way you are using only one RJ45 port on NVR whereas NVR is sold in market based on channels which I assume are the number of RJ45 ports on NVR. If I but NVR for 8 cameras it costs more than if I buy for 4 cameras but IF I GO WITH YOUR APPROACH I ONLY USE ONE PORT FROM NVR AND REST FROM MY POE..... Can you kindly elaborate if there is any thing I am missing which is changing the price of NVR in the market for the number of cameras.... I hope you have understood the question.

On the NVR console - can I keep one of the display blank or under userid/pwd. User would enter credentials and open that one display ( I have 32 channels on the console and would like to keep one channel/display under user id and pwd )

have a question about viewing alerts on the hik-connect app. When i get a notification and try to view it says play back failed and wont show. After a min or so i can go back and watch it, have you had this problem? Thanks
Am sure the purpose of sharing this video is to educate people on how to install this system. You are playing music rather than explaining step by step the process of installing the system. It will be difficult anyone who had no previous experience of installing a system to comprehend or understand what is happening.

I don't know what makes people think this system is the best. I have tested a few and find the Concord and Swann are loaded with features that expensive brands such as Hikvision don't have. Concord and Swann share the same interface and settings and have additional triggering parameters, e.g. 4 choices of setting different trigger lines at different location on screen and each has its own sensitivity levels, each line and or square has it's own corner points that you can grab with the mouse and change the shape any way you like and that has it's own sensitivity bar. Plus when something is caught inside these trigger points a trail follows its movement. But there is a problem with these two systems. Their cameras are only up to 15 fps, which gives moving objects like cars or runners, etc., a fuzzy, out of focus appearance when the video is frozen still, resulting in inability to recognize the car or the person, even a passing bird is not recognized, just a smear on screen. Otherwise these are just good 4K cameras if you want to view and record crystal clear motionless video of your garden, around the outskirts of your home, including the front garden, but you will certainly be disappointed when you want to freeze the video and find out you cannot recognize a passing car or anything that goes past the screen. Plus, faces of moving people are not really as clear as they claim regarding face recognition. At night, the Concord 4K cameras have a better IR illumination and clearer, more sharp video than the Swann 4K cameras which are slightly less intense in IR brightness. Another problem with IR illumination is that these seem to attract various flying insect that fly in front of the cameras, setting them off on false alarm, all night. Both of the 2 systems offer the option to turn them off and add a separate wide spread IR light away from the cameras so that the cameras may not pick flying insects at that distance. The part where you set triggering parameters, lines, etc., these also are triggered by insect, cats, and also rodents. With these crossing lines and boxes, anything that is detected and passed over them will set off the alarm and if you're watching the replay you will see that a green trailing line follows them. Insects that fly by have a long trailing line that keeps them in check, no matter how fast the fly. There is nothing you can do with Concord or Swann cameras. They aren't designed to ignore insects because as the insects get closer to the cameras they appear big and makes the camera think it is a larger intruder. For that reason, I never liked cameras with 850nm IR illumination system, party because they also attract vandals/intruders in knowing the whereabouts of the cameras and could damage them. Hikvision, on the other hand, seems to ignore insects but I am testing this in Autumn, a time when insects start to hibernate, I have to wait till the start of Summer. I have a dome cameras for the front as test unit. As with all other systems, I only buy a NVR and a top of the range home 4K camera and then conduct a series of tests. So, this camera, a HIK-DS-2CD2785G1-IZS 4K VF, has 2 EXIR LEDs that boost enough illumination to light the front yard. In the last 4 days I haven't had a false alarm from the few months that shot past the camera. What I like about this camera is the Darkfighter. Switching the EXIR LEDs off, the camera instantly switches to the lowest lumen that is capable of brightening most of the front yard, the street and the Park across the street, though not like daylight but like a military night camera in a black/white color. The benefit of switching the camera EXIR LEDs helps minimize preying owls and foxes (vandals and intruders) from seeking security cameras by finding the faint 850nm glow of the IR lights. Although Hikvision camera offers 4K quality video but the claim that these boast out 30fps could be exaggerate, as I haven't found 30fps in the settings interface. All I saw was max 24fps, not 30. But a 24fps, the video flow is not too bad when the moving images are frozen still. However, there is no way you can recognize of spot the numbers of a license plate, as there is still some blur and out of focus smear. I have other cameras that record and 30fps and 60fps. When the video are frozen still, the subject of interest in the image is as clear as a still picture, as if the car had never moved and a picture was taken.The interface doesn't have as many features as the Concord and Swann systems. Even the Uniview systems are packed with more features than Hikvision, but Hikvision tends to have more spelling and poor grammar in some pages throughout the Interface.

If I use the same setup u used but I want to connect (pc to router to switch to camera) instead of nvr, will it work , & if router(modam) has internet access will I be able to see camera in app, ( I don't have nvr) so will this setup work - pc as nvr, with external connected survillance drive & will there be internet access to cameras for live app view,, plz help

I've a question, in the last steps when you had configure it on mobile app. By this way, we can access camera on mobile data wherever we are using different networks, right? Or it was the method in which mobile and camera should have same network/internet?

hı I have 6 pieces hıkvısıon ıp cameras all cameras is running but one camera is offline I've tried update from nvr camera list but doesnt run it still not work.
