All right folks, I finally got the Eufy 4 camera kit and got installed. Here are my findings on this camera kit and it bothers me a lot that I have paid so much for something that does a below par job. Here goes..... First of all setting up the cameras is a cinch. Extremely easy to do. Very intuitive process. I would give 5/5 on that. Now coming to the core functionality... there is lag and a range issue. When you setup a camera, in event of any motion detection especially human & pets... you would want instant notification. Well that just doesn't happen. The camera starts recording after a lag of almost 3-4 seconds and sometimes even more. Imagine there is an intrusion of your lawn or porch or backyard ... and if the system gives you an alert after good 3-4 seconds, the intruders would have easily gotten access to your door without setting off the alarm or spotlight. Not exactly the best deterrent. Events based recording is an excellent idea but if it's delayed then it becomes rather pointless. Few words on the range of the camera with respect to human detection... the camera is unable to detect human motion beyond 20-25 feet. Yes one can see the live feed, zoom to 8x but the basic purpose is to have good range for a motion sensitive camera, that's where this camera is below average. I am not sure how the competitors stack up, but for me the range is very disappointing considering the hefty premium Eufy charges. Build quality of the camera is quite good but functionality wise it under delivers. I tested the camera in the night, with Infrared option and Spotlight .. once again same problem of lag and range. Unless Eufy fixes these issues ... this has become an expensive toy which is fun to tinker with but has limited value. Hope my detailed account on this overhyped camera setup gives you reasonable insight.

Appreciate your enthusiasm and energy, bro. Unfortunately had a break-in when I was travelling last year and definitely considering this system for this year. Undoubtedly the best I've seen so far in my research. Considering my great experience with Anger products in the past, It's no surprise this is top notch.

Just purchased the Homebase 3 with 2 Efycam 3 cameras + the Eufy Video Dual CAM 2K DOORBELL. Cameras continually notify for me and partner even though we are identified faces and bodies. Also waiting for the Eufy Video Dual CAM 2K DOORBELL to be able to connect with the Base 3. In March? Waiting for this so we can use.

Trying to buy the home hub 3 but it's not available on amazon or your website. I already have compatible devices???

I read Homekit support is on its way for the Homebase 3. As a Homekit user, I understand Homekit Secure Video limits the resolution of the videos to 1080p even if the camera is capable of 2K or even 4K recording. How is this gonna work?

Have 3 Eufy starlight cameras. They have worked great until the cold weather set in ..The solar panels don't seem to work in cold weather. I use Eufy starlight cameras in my remote cabin with no electric power source, which works fine all late spring ,summer and fall. They have not and will not work until I physically go up there and recharge all 3 cameras. The only change since I installed them is weather conditions. I called Dufy help, and am told they are supposed to work..THEY DON"T!

The problem with the CAM3 is you cannot aim the solar panel.

I just bought your new model S330 with 2 solar cameras and am disappointed with these cameras because like ALL other night vision cameras they have problems with heavy fog, nothing or very little can be seen at night when I use night vision if I turn on the backlight from another source and turns off the night vision feature, you can see a little with a little good will. I am a poor pensioner and have saved up for a long time for your product, only to end up with something that cannot be used in fog, you have been aware of this very problem for many years, why is nothing being done about it . I have to say that apart from this issue I am very happy with everything else about the new model.

Please assure us the security issues have bedn corrected.

If your camera is 10m away for room the Homebase, they don’t work. It’s not based on your Wi-Fi strength, it’s the Homebase hub being the weakest link. Shame/returning.
