Brilliant- Belloc one of my favourites - so English for a part Frenchman - 'Ha'naker mill 'so moving - so too " Do you remember an Inn Miranda - do you remember an Inn?' and a lot of funny verse too - but how he dealt with all of that grief I will never know - perhaps poetry helped a little.

Thank you so much for this video, which reveals a lot about this beloved author. I'd like to hear songs that Hilaire sang, or poems recited, I don't know where they can be found. Thank you.
