Hilarious Aladdin Press Conference in Full - Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott & Guy Ritchie

Will Smith is the Genie in Disney’s 2019 Aladdin musical adaptation, replacing Robin Williams’ hilarious animated performance, for Guy Ritchie’s live action film. The film stars Mena Massoud in the title role, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. Alan Tudyk, Nasim Pedrad, Navid Negahban and Numan Acar also star. Ritchie and John August wrote the screenplay.
Will Smith, Mena Massoud, & Naomi Scott joined Ritchie and composer Alan Menken for the film’s press conference which took place at The Rosewood Hotel in London following the film’s European Gala.
The film is out in the UK on the 22nd of May, and everywhere else by the 24th of May.
SYNOPSIS: A kindhearted street urchin and a power-hungry Grand Vizier vie for a magic lamp that has the power to make their deepest wishes come true.

They want to sleep with each other but she is married and religious so it's not gonna be easy to break it but she really plays on it and all touchy touchy I would say looks like crossing the line for a married person I would say.. She doesn't help to keep boundaries...she leans towards him, almost sits on him... Body doesn't lie... Friendship has own boundaries, you don't behave like that to a female friend...

I find Alan Menken as a freaking legend! I remember watching all the Disney VHS tapes when I was younger and seeing his name under most of the songs. Now, 30 years later, he's STILL killin it! It must be so wild for him too to revisit and work on Aladdin once again. What a life man.

I have to say marketing did you no favors. I owe Will an apology. I just thought how can he match the Robin Williams performance. But....You guys did wonderful. Best Will Smith performance in years. There were some stars made from this film. Mena & Naomi arrived. Jafar also wonderful even in his understated, younger statesman, ladder chasing. Super ambitious bend. It worked. This is a really well written updated adapted script. Also wonderful voices as well. Strong musical performances. Guy Richie is back. I always enjoy his stylish spin even when I don't connect to the material. But Guy crushed this one. This is Disney's 2nd best live action remake barely trailing Jungle Book! Quality film. Adults & your children will love this film. For father's & daughters especially what a strong message! I grew up on the animation. This film present surprise. Cool update.

I’m so happy they gave so much relevance to Speechless. I was crying at the end of that song, I felt every single word, the depth and Naomi did a fantastic job transmitting those feelings. I’m truly happy that hers is the version of Princess Jasmine the new generation will grow up looking up to. Plus she is eye candy for sure! Absolutely fantastic movie!

This is how much of a professional Guy is, this is a BIG STUDIO movie, so when they compliment him on certain things, you can tell based on his body movements whether hes likes " awe thats nice, i appreciate that they noticed my subtle imput" or "well that wasnt really my doing that was a strict studio guideline " he doesnt take credit or praise in a appreciative manner if its not something of his own doing. Why is everyone saying Jasmine is more "modern" in this version? In the original, she said, "when I BE-COME Queen..." point is, that's not a modern twist, it was always there. Jasmine is an underrated Disney Princess because they think she's a skimpily dressed Princess with no direction.

Awe, Will is so emotional..he has a good heart. You can tell things mean something more to him, it's very moving. Watching him during this interview talk so well of the others and about the film make you wanna cry alittle ha. Such a great cast for Aladdin! Our Crew got to review the film late last week. So much fun! Sadie and Addison agree with Guy's daughter - they were on their feet dancing and singing through most of the movie.
