oh I was obsessed by his smile when he comes out in the film. it's shinning and charming. Just like the title song says "shinning, shimmering splendid." his voice is also beautiful and even I like it more than the one in the original animation version.
It was really sad and I almost cried when I saw the ginie face impression in the end of the movie when Aladdin gave him his last wish and set him free. Remember? That was epic!
OMG CAN'T FREAKIN WAIT SO FREAKIN EXCITED ALADDIN IS MY FAVORITE DISNEY MOVIE AND THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE COMES OUT THE DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY SO IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME 😍😍😍
I am definitely excited for this film and the first 2 clips so far looking good and already brings the nostalgia of the 90's Aladdin. I can't wait to hear the full version of Prince Ali, Arabian Nights, A Whole New World.
Wow I enjoyed watching this interview! Mena Massoud is such a cool guy! Hope to see more of him! Can't wait to see the live-action version of Aladdin! 😊
There’s like five different versions one where he’s Egyptian But the majority story is that he’s Middle Eastern, Egyptians still speak Arabic I was even talking about the actor that played in Aladdin I’m just talking about in general. I think the actor that’s playing jarfer is middle eastern. I’m definitely happy that they didn’t white wash this movie. It is a very diverse cast which is cool. Not like ghost in the shell.
Aladdin is going to be awesome also Mena is going to be huge with high expectations to be in a lot of stuff and I hope he appears in a lot more movies 🎥
@@ralphcorneliuscastro I completely understand your point.😁 He still wears a vest though. Going back in the 90's I think no one thought the animated Aladdin was inappropriate as well. Let's hope Disney will explain about this. 😁
@@shanelocsin9906 It might be also a point of cultural authenticity. Disney wants the movie to be more culturally appropriate and historically accurate (as much as it can be). If we're talking about culture, there are no shirtless men in the Middle East during the time period (or any time period really) that the story is set in. Audiences will definitely criticize Disney if they don't make it historically and culturally appropriate. Plus it's in their company's mission vision. They would not be "on-brand" if they failed in that aspect. No one would see the film just for that.
@@erinlee5936 yeah, I thought of that as well. Maybe it's a move to make it more modest in a way, knowing that it is to depict Middle East. I appreciate your reaponse. 😁

Animation Geek I think he’s probably just nervous lol. I can’t imagine him being a relatively unknown actor and just knowing how big you’re about to get right before you’re movie comes out. He did say they wrapped filming a year and a half ago so he had all that time to relax and just work but now that his biggest project is about to be released he’s probably overwhelmed with the new attention he’s getting. At least that’s what I’m assuming is the case haha who knows for sure.
Animation Geek I felt the same way. He wasn't charismatic at all here. Naomi Scott and Will Smith have so much energy and enthusiasm so he's going to be left in the dust on the press tour if he doesn't try to match them.
@@blerksnarfgut7332 Left in the dust to what? Not everyone has to be super charismatic, it's not their job to entertain your short attention span. He's an actor, he just has to act well in his movies. Many all time great actors suck at interviews, but that's irrelevant, it's just about acting. Why do people always expect everyone to be super engergic and loud? Not everyone is exactly the same.
‘Spoiler’. This movie came out 28 years ago. If there’s something that’s a spoiler, that means they didn’t stick to the script and I’m gonna be pissed.
Just watched it. I personally loved it. Mini spoilers: They made many additions. Aladdin has always been extravagant anyways. They filled in some stuff tht lacked in the past. They added things that made sense.
I don't like either of them Smith will ruin a fantastic role with himself playing himself again and this kid looks so grateful for getting a chance to publicity and he doesn't resemble the character at all
@@Nazaba09 don.t give that poor taste excuse.cgi could have fix it,but for some of your blockheads its unrealistic for a genie that is a magical being with begin it to transform without being observed. You ppl who defend these kinds of stuff are truly hypocrites,go to another movie that has some bad cgi or unfinished cgi and you tore it apart.
