There's a lot of people who doesn't like him for being honest to contestants and just assume he's not a nice person, but if you ever meet him in real life he's actually quite caring and down to earth. Also couple days ago he donated $32,000 to save dog slaughter and became a vegan in support of animals.
If you don’t have what it takes to be successful in the music industry he’s not going to lie to you and say you do have talent when it’s clear you don’t!! He’s actually trying to help these people from making fools of themselves even if what he has to say isn’t what they want to hear!! Truth sometimes hurts but if someone told me I had talent and then I made a fool of myself because they didn’t tell me the truth because they were afraid to hurt my feelings I think I would be more upset than if they had told me at audition that I didn’t have the talent!! I would rather someone be truthful even if it was something I didn’t want to hear
