The orchestra!! Phenomenal playing! Hilary Hahn of course is a marvel but dang, the orchestra was incredible. SO clean

I had the privilege of hearing midori live at the Ohio State Theatre when I was a kid. She's the reason I wanted to advance in violin. I just watched and said "I want to be like that!" I had only been playing for 2 years at this point. Unfortunately I sustained an injury that permanently damaged the medial nerve in my right arm. Plus I had extreme tendinitis setting in from an undiagnosed neuromuscular disease. I can't even play any more. However I managed to get to where I could play class A music, was in 3 orchestras and concert mistress of one of them. Won high scores in contests and even did a senior recital. I miss playing it like I used to. However she's where I got the inspiration to advance. I played for 12 years before my arms couldn't take it anymore. Thank you Midori ❤ I don't know if she'll ever see this but thank you 💖

It's very impressive, but the orchestra parts are basically as difficult as the solo part.

Ahhhh, I loved this performance so badly. Two Queens!!! I will always have a special connection with Hilary because I ended up with a violin on my hands when I was 7 thanks to her and she's my main inspiration. She's so gifted and yet one of the most humble persons I've ever met. The orchestra was amazing, that clean sound is pure paradise, and that's actually very hard to get, especially with that difficulty level. I respect my fellow violinists opinions if they prefer Janine Jansen or David Garrett, but in my opinion Hilary is untouchable. She's the Goddess of Violin

I feel blessed seeing two legends in one video. But what happened with the sound? The orchestra is so overwhelming it just doesn't sound "resonant" to me.

She used to be better. I don't know why; she is not enjoy playing anymore.

Just not enough masks. Put one on the violinist too, then they can all suffocate. Disappointed by the entire musical industry. And yes, too loud and too forced. All that suffocation makes music irrelevant.
