Love the wooden cover you built for over the sink! Such a smart idea! I have a small kitchen! - so maximizing space is key! Might have to steal this idea!
This house looks similar to our old home in deluz on Camp Pendleton, we had a long dining room too!! So I put the kitchen table there and the couch on opposite side and the other room we had where the couch can go I had as my sitting room :) Love this home and the lighting 😍😍😍
You have to choose your own internet provider and I know we had wifi but I’m not certain that it’s not in more than one room if you wanted it that way. We’ve moved since this :/
Thanks for the video! We were just offered the Briarwood floor plan. You mentioned that you may have 1400 square feet, but the floor plans online show 1771 square feet. Do you happen to know if they have a smaller and larger version of this home?
Ironic how we got a 4 bedroom at hill afb but it is nowhere as spacious as yours. We didn't even get a second level lol I would had gladly sacrificed our extra bedroom for an extra floor but the dinning area is big enough for us to add a minibar....not a bad a suggestion 😉
We originally got offered one of the super old smaller house and declined it and got very lucky with that one 😅 We moved again already though, barely made it a year 🤦🏼♀️🤣
@@AlyssaPidgeon oh thanks! My baby was fussing right before that, so makes sense why I missed it! How are you liking the house/neighborhood so far? I wish there were more house tours for Hill 😩
We’ve never lived on base before but on our next pcs my husband wants to try and go to a country where English isn’t the main language and he again, doesn’t want to live on base. I’d like to try it as I feel like I could be more social that way and it would make things a little easier but the main thing both of us are worried about is privacy. Apparently people can just let themselves in or at least demand to be let into your apartment/house whenever they want? Whereas living off base they can’t do that and you don’t have to let them in. I’m especially worried about that aspect as his last supervisor was absolutely horrible and used to shout at me (spouse) and our baby, even my husband, in public and one time had us all crying in the parking lot outside dental on base. Then he threatened to “follow us home again” and another time I had gone out and came home to find him and his muscle man goon at my house demanding to be let in then refusing to leave and blocking me from leaving. In the end police came and said if they try that again then call them. SECFO on base just told me “yeah he sounds like an asshole but there’s nothing illegal about that”. So basically I just want to be left alone and not be worried men are gonna be forcing their way in to my private space. If anyone knows about the rules on that kind of thing if you live on base, it would be such a help! Thank you
Woah! I’m sorry that happened to you! We’ve lived on base in Japan and here so almost 4 years total and have NEVER had someone demand to enter our house. I’m not sure the legality behind that but I can honestly say I love living on base but have never had any sort of conflict to make me not want to 🙁
@@AlyssaPidgeon that's awesome. I was in the marine corps and housing sucked. But my wife just joined the air force and I've been looking into housing for our family. Your video was great!
