A journey on the 332 which ran from High Wycombe to Chinnor via some hills (this was a running day route). The bus we ride is a preserved Arriva Plaxton Pointer 1 in Maidstone and District green (although in interurban livery) with the 4 speed allison AT545 gearbox. During the start of the hillclimb, the Allison slipped a few times but still had the strength to climb the hill but on the return trip to High Wycombe which involved another hill, it broke down at the very top of the 2nd hill and had to roll backwards without engine power to a safe spot where cars can safely pass on both sides. Still, this bus was lovely to ride.
