Most Jews were deported from the Netherlands during WW2. I understand that a lot of Dutch people want to crawl for Israel but what do the Palestinians have to do with the Holocaust ? Israel is the only country in the world that's lobbying for its existence and not its policies. Israel is the last European colonial experiment that's showing her last convulsions. It's time we got off this hobby horse of obsessing about Jews. The Haulocost happened 80 years ago and we have spent the time since apologising and compensating. Jews are 0.2% of Earth's population. There are larger groups with more recent grievances that need addressing. So let's stop obsessing about this group and move on to more deserving and more current problems.

UNRWA, on the other hand, employs 30,000 people, in Gaza to service a claimed figure of 5.9 million refugees.

Yeah same here. In the WW2 my Grandparents were NSB, two uncles were in the German army! Seems to me nothing has been learned from the events back then! Oh and why is everyone screaming at Isreal to stop their aggression yet nobody's making a sound towards HAMAS to release the hostages. Do you think all these other countries would allow a terrorist group to invade their country and kidnap its civilians without severe consequences?!

Yeah, she should be teleported to 200 years ago. To be fair though, the party she represents is as irrelevant as she is, so it kinda fits. No-one in their right mind will vote for her party for which it stands, it will only receive protest-votes.
I am ashamed of those MPs. They don’t represent the majority of the Dutch people. These are MPs from the old government, it has been replaced last week by a new one, which is more open to the Israeli side of the story. Many of the Dutch people stand with Israel.

There are not many people in the Netherlands who support Israel. Israel must withdraw from the Palestinian territories, that is a ruling by the international court.
It wasn’t hushed up or ignored. it was broadcast live and I saw an article in a nation wide paper about it (can’t say if other papers reported on it as well). And I agree about the parties present there. I wasn’t expecting much understanding from them. As with anything in live people make up their mind and don’t change their opinion easily.

When everything you said was based on facts. It is very sad that the members of the panel came relying on resentment and not on the empirical facts. They didn't do their homework before the debate, and literally lowered the level of the debate down the drain

The committee for foreign trade and development aid has done well to hold this online hearing. Nevertheless, I am struck by the number of empty seats at this meeting and the fact that Hillel sits alone with nobody sitting next to him! This, in my opinion, speaks volumes about the UN ‘s ‘impartiality’ and their hostility towards Israel. As a non Jew from New Zealand I perceive this behaviour as anti-semitism and it disgusts me.

These people posing questions; do they even listen to what Neuer says? No, they don’t! It is appalling how they try to pose questions that have already been answered!! For instance: “Did you interact with UNRWA before publishing your accusations?” All that had been plenty bespoken, both initially and all along while responding to other questions. And then the lady in the green blazer, who didn’t even have a question, but spent her minutes making disgraceful statements of the kind that will be pointing right back at herself!!

I've seen this. i think the title is a bit misleading. The information he put forth and his comebacks should have destroyed them, but really it didn't matter what he said, they had made up their minds before this meeting started. I can feel their hatred towards Israel emanating from the screen.
I know many Dutch not like this. But this was an embarrassing panel. I’m “flabbergasted” that people have to shut down and hide from facts rather than allowing themselves to process information that may go against their preconceived notions.
