MPs grill minister over Israel forcing Gaza into famine during Select Committee 

Are all of these people pretending to be stupid? Seriously? On the 9th of October, the Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed”. He ordered a full siege. Therefore, it’s no mystery why there’s literally no humanitarian aid getting through into Gaza. Israel is simply doing what that defence minister said they will do.

These puppets are the most barbaric criminals I will ever experience in my life. How do they go home and sit down to dinner with their families and feel free to enjoy their food.

I commend those asking the questions. They were very clear - not yes/no questions, but also not open-ended enough to misconstrue. The strategy of the UK to dodge even the most basic of answers and conclusions is telling enough. It honestly makes me wonder who really has the power here? Because after over 6 months, Israel CONTINUES to act with impunity. And so far, the most powerful of Israel's allies can only muster a meek "guys can you be a little nicer 🥺👉👈." Israel reopened the Kerem Shalom crossing but no agreement has been reached with Egypt on reopening the Rafah crossing. They should make additional efforts to reassure Egypt that Palestinians will not be pushed into Egypt.
