It’s time (past time) to hill up the potatoes, which were planted about a month ago. This video captures the process of using the Troy-Bilt hiller/furrower attachment and a Troy-Bilt Horse rototiller (1986 model year) to hill potatoes. Along the way I share the lessons learned this year, and the progress with our cover crop.

I would lower wings, do a run, the raise and do another. Nice video. I am getting my Dad's troybuilt later this summer.

Are you running the tines when you are furrowing? Or just driving and plowing up the soil? Great video

Yes, I mentioned this midway through. Gotta run the tines all the time when engaging the ground.
