Drove one this December and took the Mahindra deep into he Namib desert where u will find some of he world's highest dunes, en raai wat, sy het dit met gemak oaf gedraf, even cruiser guys could not believe it. Impressive 4x4

Reliability is where Mahindra excels, it’s motor indeed powerful. The life of this m-Hawk 2.2 engine is among the best today and it can run for 500,000km without any problems as compared to 250,000km with the previous engine.

Great car, derived from "scorpio", its the gangsta car here in India 😂, looks bold, might get when its updated next year. Enough power(not everyone is going off-road,just muvs are ugly to this is good alternative)

This back in my Country India is known as Scorpio Getaway which didn't sell well and now is just exported to Aus, SA and other countries.... Mahindra is now entered Joint Venture with Ford India so you can expect more beautiful design in coming years....

Almost bought one, until I test drove it. It seemed very capable, however I was right up against the door (similar to the Range Rover Defender). This is a very capable vehicle but there's no room in the cab. If your wife has hips, she'll hate it. This is a very narrow vehicle so keep that in mind. Otherwise I'd have got one.

It is appealing to our Bakkie (truck) buying farming community in South Africa, many of whom are based in and around the Karoo desert. It is purely a marketing move and a good one. Associating a car like this with an African setting makes it a bit more (psychologically) powerful for us.
