That low rider seat is not good for long rides coz it has less foam in it which isn't good for long rides but for city commutes it's okay. I would suggest you to try the normal seat at 825 mm as you're 5'8. You're still 1 inch more taller than the average Indian height.
get the stock seat, learn how to manage it since you're already at an adequate height for 825-845. You can always get the low seat if you've absolutely failed to learn on the normal seat which is very unlikely with less than a week of serious practice.
this is what i've been concerned and talking about my whole life being an Indian, its not about the height of a two wheeler seat its the design and how it is shaped. Our Designers are just biggining to understand but better late than never. hope all local bikes even at lower pirce bike have atleast have good seat design.
Some short people are blessed with long legs but shorter upper. I am short with my legs shorter😢 I tiptoe on my 800mm bike. I will buy this one in my next life
@marianpeace exactly, many reviewers and commentators don't talk about uneven roads, gravel situations, etc. just to satisfy one's fantasy and fool themselves they say, only skill matters, height doesn't matter. But the most of the roads that we have here, height does matter.
I am 5'7 and I can ride the 390 adv with a 855 mm seat easy. Of course I can only get 1 for down but that's more than enough. This should t be a problem at all considering 845 is very doable and with the same seat it can be adjusted to 825.
It's risky while going offroading, if bike slands towards a pit/lower lying area.ypu won't be able to land your feet there since it's deeper in that area.
@@siu281 nope. As I said in my comment, I can get 1 foot fully down so no problem and I can tiptoe if both feet need to be on the ground. You don't need both feet to be on the ground.
Heights are inconsequential for most people as long as you know how to ride, bikes are made to fit the largest amount of people possible, so as long as you fit the average, you'll more than likely fit the bike. There are obvious extremes but a few inches over or under whatever the recommended height wont affect you, as long as you know your machine. You can lean it a little farther if your legs dont perfectly stay flat.
I've seen 5'6" person riding Africa Twin & a GS smoothly offroad. This one would be fine too. Even though some riders might need to learn to manage the height 🙂
What is your Inseam height? I'm 5"7 tall and i have really long torso (you can't tell the difference if I sit beside 6" + tall guy) my inseam height is way too short and i struggle to even manoeuvring my Pulsar 150😅
@@SatyamevaJayate_JaiHind I am 5'11" but I have no idea about inseam now, haven't been to a tailor in 15/20 years 😅so didn't need to measure, but my upper & lower body are kinda proportionate, I've ridden Africa Twin/GS/Tiger 800&900 a few times & never had any issues.
they promised a taller one-piece seat, I think? It should be a part of the package that has tubeless tires, an arrow end-can, and a lighter tail section.
You have really long legs bro!! The height doesn't matter!!! What matter is the "Inseam height". I'm 5"7 even though i struggle bit to ride Pulsar 150😢 because i have long Torso. In your case your inseam height is great
@@AbhishekBM My height is 5’9 and I can flat foot classic 350 and even yezdi adventure of 815 mm seat height with shoes on because noone rides a bike barefoot and also not recommended 😂😂
I'm 167 like that guy and I own a Himalayan Scram 411 with 795mm seat height... my toes touches the ground same way his are touching with 840mm seat height, that's confusing 😕 🤔😅
Meri height 168Cm hai aur mere toe touch hote... Tip toe nh toe touch hote hai. Hill area touch nh hota...Mera dost bhi exactly same 168 Cm height hai Gym me check kiye the.. lekin wo Mota hai Aur uski Thighs bht moti hai... Usko Dono bhi pair Toe touch hote hai lekin uske Weight ki wajah se bike dabbb jaati hai lekin fir bhi mere pair zaada touch hote zamin ko... Mota hona bhi ek problem hai tall bike me 😅
@@suryateja2k11 90% of fuel is 15litre... Petrol weigh for 5litre is 3kg approx.. so we can lessen the weight by 6kg by filling just 5litres of fuel..still 190kg...why dont RE get closer to 165kg or 170kg as kerb weight..Isn't that enough for a motorcycle?
