Transform your Shotgun 650 from single seater to double seater to luggage-carrying tourer and back in minutes. Here’s how you can customise your motorcycle as per your needs.
Yes. This design is really bad. At least they should provide a dedicated hook for suspension. Removing and attaching should be a matter of 3 minute tasks even for non-mechanical people with minimal tools.
well. I would not trust on a quick release. specially if my wife is on the back sit. so I gess we need to ballance safe and convenience and this sollution is convenient enough.
This bike is beautiful but, imo the seat setup ruins the look. I plan on buying it and changing the seat right away. Does anyone know if theres a subframe under the rear fender and if it can support a pillion seat without the rack?
@@superleggenda thank you bro for your knowledge, i guess royal enfiled made bike for engg. and not common people who want easier things or maybe people should first think what is possilbe then demand as we invent first then create need for it not otherway around
@@superleggenda bro i totally understood your point about bike frame and all that my point to comment is for RE to make it more simpler in next design/bike not for other to defend RE, RE as a indian brand we often give them feedback by doing mods to RE, i have already made a classic 350 in bobber style with a fold seat although not practical for heavy weight it works and this design is good but i still stick to my point not simple for a common man and that is my feedback no matter what others say and being a indian brand we indians always demand more from our brands in cheap price so kinda hard wired that way. if you still want to treat others like noob pls go ahead.
Looking at the video, nut only needs to be loosened. Subframe is slotted for quick removal. I wouldn’t think doing this occasionally would affect chassis integrity. Always torque up as required though, not just tighten.
Where is sissy bar for rear seat? The kid will fly off. Shotgun is such a disappointment after waiting for it. It weights 240 KGs, are you try to hit a world heavy weight record ? I would go for interceptor when it gets USD suspension.
Royal Enfield, first you do a poor design for the rack removal and then you think doing a video like this will help?? Your definition of DIY is very different from most people. Do a rethink on the design before you put a new iteration of the bike on the production floor.
Naa, come on.... you re right. BUT: I am happy that they provide these solution in the bike and make it possible for Beginner AND show it on a video. You ll never find that service from Honda Yamaha, Triumph, Kawasaki. They even dont use Screws. They use Single-use-Plastik-Pins. And its almost not possible to customize it for your own. Enfield always use easy-to-find-Screws in every part of the bikes. So thank you R.E-
