The concept of Himalayan is a lofty one. A comfortable sufficiently powerful bike with long travel suspension going at full clip across a field is truly a joy to watch. We hope and pray that the product endures and lives up to the buyer's expectations.

Wow! Nice review, great editing! The video shows how tough the bike is, and the abuse it can take. Definitely a long termer! I'm curious, the road you took is after Yelahanka, towards Hesarghetta if I'm not wrong. The MVIT college road. Beautiful location.

The best Himalayan video! Covered actual usage points. But I will never believe RE and good build quality in the same sentence.

I ask.. One bike to maintain.. for daily commutes, weekend long rides with wife, super suspension for some Indian roads between Potholes, bearable after sales service, durable to last long.. Please share your Suggestions that come close.. In my sight: Himalayan, Duke 250...

Can anyone tell me about the brakes?? Do u feel confident on panic braking while cruising at 100-110?

If it's going to be mostly road touring, would suggest the Mojo over this :)

Not recommended if you are mostly into touring. Points which make it "Not so good" Tourer. 1). Tubed tyres: Not every mechanic can fix rear tyre. Some of them just cant do it. 2.) Low end torque. You dont really need it om tarmac. 3.) Maneuver ability in traffic- himalayan sucks at it. 4.) Bad rear brake. 5.) Dual purpose tyres which also causes wobble like feel on tarmac. 6.) Vibrations and not so good handling above 90kmph 7.) Engine heat: Unbearable 8.) Expensive accessories. So your requirement is 50:50-On:Off road, himalayan is a good option but when you know you are going to spend more time on road, better choose among: 1.) Dominar 2.) KTM adventure 3.)Mojo Ps.- I own a himalayan

@@MrManishvatsyan thank u so much bro. But i WILL choose MOJO over DOMINAR, n ktm as thy have fiber body and less tank range👍🏻
@MrManishvatsyan
@MrManishvatsyan 4 года назад
@@roysonr you can choose but remember that Aftersales support is very important. I have seen reviews from people about parts unavailability. Mojo is very good bike as far as i know but it isn't a very well known bike so you never know when company decides to shut down its production.

Confused between Dom 400 and Himalayan, I have significant biking experience in my early life, now mostly want a bike for hobby and touring long distances for 3-4 times a year for 2 weeks each. Need to know which one is reliable and can take all terrains. Please suggest

If it does not involve much off-road touring, the D400 makes a better choice .

Very small drop in power, torque remains the same. You do not feel the difference at all.

You can happily buy KTM Adventure 390 for 3.5 lakhs. RE has tried to be more affordable with the motorcycle.
