@@xpabz Exactly what I thought. It just seemed weird to me that by the time she was muled back down the mountain by men (hopefully well paid for that) carrying her piggyback ... she stated, "it was a treacherous climb back down??" Ummm for whom? Also, by the time she reached the hospital she didn't complain of the arm and foot injuries I thought she had suffered? What, did that heal on the way down? She should never have gone to begin with.

What a drag. No, I spent so long just trying to find all the episodes and it's not rocket science to title each episode "Part 1 of 3" or however many parts there are. I don't like to complain about free content but it is frustrating!

Some people will do anything to get the attention they crave. Even book a trek they know damn well they are too overweight and out of shape to do. They should never have allowed her to go at all. One look at her would tell you that. Requiring a certificate of fitness from her local gym and doctor would put a stop to this kind of trek abuse! Poor gal, but she has certainly learned her lesson and inconvenienced a lot of people.

that image is just so cliched, and its stuck in my mind now forever, 'paula' thinks shes going to die, shes laying down making herself comfy with a rucksack for a pillow, "this is africa now, anything we touch could give us a bad tummy" 'the porter' is carrying this great white hope off the mountain ... the brits are having a rough day, stiff upper lip chaps. paula was so 'gutted' that shes still 3 x the healthy weight for her height. facepalm*

It was careless and ínsensable to let Paula trying to clmb the highest mountain of Africa in sandals. I guess the show just wanted to add some drama and didnt care about her suffering.

I am an amateur tourist but did many trips with different groups without problems. These experts couldn't find another place more suitable for everyone? That's why rescuers are always busy 😅🤣

I'm sure Paula is a lovely woman, but as soon as I saw her I knew she wasn't going to make the climb. It was irresponsible to approve her for this trek when she is so obviously not fit enough. If I were a team member, I would have been quite angry with the organizers.

Yes, I would say she has to go through a half a year fitness training in order to complete this challenge. Cant ask a primary student to take a college level exam, its hopeless

High altitude sickness is nothing to mess around with. Ive had it several times.. They should have taken more time to allow their bodies to acclimate and supplemental oxygen should have been staged throughout the trek. Emergency services should have been on standby for an urgent evacuation. Seriously People should have been tested for their physical abilities prior to going.

It’s shocking and life threatening for everyone to have Paula and Deep on this expedition. Paula got out early but Deepika is like “ the took my rucksack that made me feel like not trying” stupid women you’re on the highest mountain around and it’s dangerous and life threatening for all and she sulking like a child. She’s lucky they took her bag from her.

I don't understand these ppl who feel they need to prove themselves doing this stuff. Besides, shouldn't you have years of training and fitness to be able to climb altitudes? One of my sisters-in-law does mild hikes in the mountains, and only last weekend she was telling us about a guy who had to be airlifted by heli just from a cramp cos he was not 'experienced'. And my father-in-law's words were "Don't be a hero". He's exactly right.

When all causes are found negative, call it food poisoning. Her body couldn’t handle this and the producers knew it. Disgusting. Then you’ve got Deep, who cannot coordinate where her feet go when hiking. Maybe not as predictable, but cone on, this is real, guys.

Paula maybe should have lost weight and appropriately prepared for such a hike . Clearly wayyyyy out of shape and should not climb that mountain . It is frustrating to see a porter had to carry her down . Sandals ? Come on !How reckless can one be ? It was certainly not altitude sickness . I have hiked multiple times in the alps and didn't feel anything until 3500m
