Himalayan Scents - De zoektocht naar nardus 

This movie shows the quest for the biblical Nard plant (Nardostachys grandiflora DC) in the Dolpo region of Nepal. It follows Walter De Boeck, co-founder of Cîme skin care, through his trip made in the Nepalese Himalayas in 1999 , together with his Nepalese friend Rana Bahadur Rawal. It gives a good insight in living conditions in this remote area of Nepal as well as the botanical riches of the Himalayan region.

Deze film toont de zoektocht naar nardus (jatamansi in het Nepalees) in het Dolpo gebied van Nepal. De film volgt Walter De Boeck, medestichter van CÎME en vader van Anke De Boeck) op zijn tocht naar Dolpo in de Nepalese Himalaya in 1999, samen met zijn Nepalese vriend Rana Bahadur Rawal. Het geeft de levensomstandigheden weer in een afgelegen gebied van Nepal, evenals de botanische rijkdom van dit deel van de Himalaya.
