Turn on CC for JP subtitles! Side note: In the original stream (already 2 months ago lol), Hima also talked about things like how Warabeda Meiji kept cheering her up by texting her every day while she was recovering, how she was still having after effects like taste loss, a persistent cough, and easily getting out of breath by just walking, which made her feel depressed (though as of now those after effects seem to be gone), etc. I couldn't include them in this video because it'd be too long, but if you're curious you can check out the archive (or other TL clips)! And finally, thanks for watching, stay safe and healthy~💊
Back then I was so surprised that she managed to still sound upbeat, like the usual Honhima, even when sharing her unpleasant personal experience; though I only managed to understand it bits by bits. Living alone feeds you with a lot of wild thoughts and you just immediately think of the worst, and the longer your issue persists the more worst case scenarios you could cook up. I am so happy to see her doing better nowadays. Your editing put more emphasis into what she conveyed without messing up with the intent. As usual, kudos with the work! Those information pop-up are also very helpful. Stay safe and healthy! Please don't forget to take care of yourselves today too- for you and anyone else watching this clip.
@@himajinnotameiki I think it worked really well! You have always been able to use your skills to help expressing what the vtubers convey without going overboard. I believe that is ideal.
this clip is not a mere clip, its frickin Documentary-Level about Covid Survivor, and a better, Honhima itself, living the day to tell about it. Kudos man for the content. It gave us a more awareness about this kind of pandemic issues, without scaring us. Thanks
I almost cry watching this video. As someone who have the same experience, i understand how terrified it is at the moment. You can't help but think about death. I'm glad she get better ❤️
@@alexiaquiin4151 yeah I know, I feel you mate. Try bunch of fun activity, talk to family and loved one, at least it keeps me for not thinking too much about the covid. Honestly watching vtuber helps me a lot with my hard time, god bless them.
That "the end" xD Aww poor Hima, I'm glad she's back to health again. That must be a horrible 2 weeks, but she didn't forget about us I've heard people who got severe case from this disease. Sounds really scary, I'm just glad I'm still lucky so far Just like life, everything is game of luck. Stay safe guys, drink more vitamin D, it'll help
I really appreciate you translating this. It reminded me how severe covid really is again. In my country people keep downplaying it and even call me crazy when I get mad at my family for not getting the vaccine. Just hearing how much hima-chan was suffering makes me cry. She was alone thinking she would die. That is the most terrifying feeling ever. And I honestly don’t wish it on my family. I love them too much. I will try my best to convince them to get the vaccine and I feel like this video is a very good educational video. I’ll ask them to watch this and rethink their decisions again. (But of course, most importantly, they should look at the scientific evidence but some people are not smart enough to do that, this might be easier to digest) Thank you for showing the severity of this and I thank God that hima chan is okay. Legit started crying after hearing the reasons for her I love you tweet. I’m so happy she is okay now.
truly a terrifying experience, It's heartbreaking to hear such a cheerful person like her talking about herself being in that condition. It's the first time I heard about this, so glad that she pulled through all of that. I wish her and everyone to have a happy, long and healthy life ❤️
thank you for the clip, your editing is amazing as always, felt like i was watching a short movie. 9:13 not gonna lie, i teared up a bit at this part.. ;-; she even said that she lost 7kg from covid in her announcement video, but in the end, i'm glad that she's recovering well and being a healthy himawari again 🙏 take care everyone, i wish you all a good health and have a nice day 🙏
The editing was really amazing. I think if I watched her talk about it normally I would have just felt empathy. But the editing really took it to the next level. I also teared up in afew parts
I havent seen edits of this quality anywhere else in the vtuber subbing scene. Cant imagine how much time and effort it took. The dual language subs are the cherry on top. Thanks for helping to spread awareness of Hima's story to the EN viewer crowd
I still live with most of my big family and mostly everyone works so we're only really all in the house in the evening and at night. Early 2021, someone had caught it and basically everyone got tested (9 people) and 8 of us were positive. I was really worried because a lot of my family members have health issues, even I have never been the healthiest person but I was lucky to have only light symptoms, My older brother and my dad though had it really bad, multiple times we debated calling an ambulance but they really did not trust going to the hospital to be put on ventilators and whatnot. Luckily, after two scary weeks, we all made it out ok albeit with lasting effects even today. I am glad Hima-chan is ok and feeling like herself again, I really worried for her well-being more than just wanting to see her stream again.
I watched this live but I want to say I’m just so happy she got better and is still as happy as ever. Truly sounds like a horrifying experience. Like Hima already said: You can take all precautions in the world but in the end it’s a luck based game. Props to the high level editing too. If you told me this was taken from some kind of TV show I’d believe it no doubt.
Damn that hit hard. I teared up when she talked about how her mom reacted and cried at the part where she tweeted that she loved everyone. She talks about it in a positive tone but I can’t even imagine what she’s went though physically and mentally. Thank you for this translation.
Now wonder i have no idea this poor sunflower almost lost hope in life, i was depressed for like two months because Lulu gradutated right after her birthday, jeez Theyre both ok now so i guess we still get the Good End
At 6:24, she gulped a bit & sounds like she's going to cry but managed to hold it back. Strong girl Hima-chan! Really thankful she's able to keep up & recover....
I went through a lot of your clips, they all are really amazing in general, but this I think is in a whole new level The music you used was spot on I have so much respect for you as a clipper!
ohh thank you! yeah i remember struggling really hard choosing/finding fitting music and deciding where to switch from one to another, glad you liked the result. the video i spent the most time on making so far though is probably the furen&yashiro clip, mainly because of the 3d stuffs lol
It really is like luck game, i got tested positive, and the night before, i was sharing utensils and stuff with family, but i'm the only one tested postive while all of my family tested negative
what she said about luck game, it actually a bit true, in my case, my family was super careful, we didnt get out when its not necessary, wearing mask when we go out, etc. but still we got infected with covid, and yes we get the worse possible symptom like difficulty of breathing, no energy, loss of apetite, but strangely our taste bud and smell is still working. the difference is while hima still got care from paramedic, my family and i didnt get any help from local health center, even i didnt get any medicine from them, they only issue anti virus and vitamin for my late dad, my mom and my sister at that time.
@@himajinnotameiki yep, it seems like the boys are recovering but still theres a chance of long covid. but hope all the boys get well and theres a chance for them to perform their stages
the edit and TL is really good, I undertand make more enjoyable watching but i think the music "over dramatic" and make it feel like is a joke or TV show, what is a bit different from vtubers.
Good question! I use Davinci resolve and it has a compositing system called Fusion (which is originally a standalone program). And I used it to create the entire temperature popup thing. To animate the temperature numbers, I used "expressions" (something like a math expression. After Effects has a similar feature too) to drive the texts. For Celsius, I typed a random exponential curve function so that it slowly converges to the desired value (like 39). And for Fahrenheit, I put the same expression but wrapped in the C->F formula (1.8 * C + 32). This way, the numbers animate in a kinda mathematically synced way. Hope this makes sense.
