if you like her reaction, be sure to check the other videos. it's a tears parade ru-vid.com/group/PLTHxwTqLMSwLrEK6vwf8jFTkfQKBSu4XG&si=vhuIGfHny4fPPQFB
If you listen to the Devs there was a plan to have an antagonist Honkai infested Himeko come back. They thought it would be too cruel given the community reaction. That was how they were planning to bring her back. As something you have to kill
For real, there are some lines in that part feel like they are both meant for Kiana and for us players who still hoped Himeko had somehow survived or could be revived.
Their conclusion to Himeko was perfection in its agony... Giving her so many lines for those not ready to let go, and then forcing such a long walk away to the door... Such calculated story telling to really push the emotion to the max.
I fucking cried in this scene because it reminds me of the struggles I had to endure in real life, studies, losing friends, losing family members, standing right back up to keep moving forward to see that all that is beautiful in this world be blessed, yes I am still crying but seeing people make people cry makes me want to join those guys to see people's expectations and reactions to Himeko
The Himeko farewell scene here, as well as the cutscene named "Everlasting Flames"... hurts so much, but it was "Final Lesson" that made me grieve and care about Himeko in the first place... I'm still tearing up...
@@fenrir7286 ngl, this was the exact process I went through on rewatching this scene from "Oh my eyes are watering, well that makes sens-" to minor sobbing bc damn the emotions hit diff lmao
That part with Kiana crying hurts me so much. Watching this translated playthrough of a reaction, still hurts to this day... I will never move on from the pains that ail me. Himeko being dead still hurts me so much... She's fated to die in every universe, but that doesn't heal this wound upon my heart... I dread the day in Star Rail where Himeko inevitably dies. Because no other Himeko has avoided dying. Captainverse Himeko may be alive, but that's only due to timecycle resets in a Bubble World. Hopefully Welt Yang going to Star Rail to save Himeko from her demise, and not have the purpose of his moving to another universe be squashed invain. Gosh do I crave the depression mainstory part 1 gave me. That's why this is my favorite gatcha game, I can feel the pain of grief allot. I like HI3rd more than Star Rail, even though HI3rd's main story part 2 wasn't what I wanted
There is this fan theory, where's "the Himeko in HSR is actually Himeko from HI3 who's body been missing in Imaginary realm is found by unknown Aeon and revived, and thus given mission to find Astral Express and Akivili. That'swhy Herrscher of Dominance only found the Gem of Haste in the Imaginary realm, Despite the Gem should be inside Himeko VK armor(yes the gem is put inside the armor instead of the sword, the sword is the extensionof the armor)"
Tbf is exactly because I was a crying mess at that time when this chapter came out that now I can laugh at others feeling the same (Shit still hurts a bit tho...) :^)
I feel that Himeko sensei wants her students to move forward, and that means we the players too, hope that none of the characters in Part 2 will end up like this again.
