@HomuLabs what I remembered is that SA is not really dead but only a part of her roots were destroyed that currently resides within the solar system, but SA will no longer bother them after revealing its presence to the one enemy it was afraid of.
I swear I tried... I got to the serpent part, but it was the energy system that drained me T_T Also, imo, best Hoyo plot, worst game design (the most "mobile" probably, which isn't for me), so thank you for all your summaries! ^^ (I watched all your compilation, alternating with the animated shorts, so it was like watching a season of a show XD)
Glad my content was helpful! If you want, you can jump into Part 2 right after this. Part 2 uses the Open World system like HSR and doesn't consume stamina. Also, it feel a lot more in line with the newer HoYo games.

Hello, i just installed hi3 again. I'm at chapter 12 of part 1 the last time i played. Now i cannot access the part 1 story in the story tab, it only shows the beginning of part 2. All the chapters in part 1 story are gone for me. How do i get part 1 story back? Do i need to complete part 2 chapters first for them to appear again?
@@khakikohii did you click on the part one tab to have it drop down? “The Moon’s Finality and Origin” click it and it will show the part 1 chapters below it.
@@khakikohii That would be really bad game design if you couldn't access part 1 until you finish part 2 lmao. But here how to access it, step by step. In Lobby/Menu, click on Attack, go to Start tap which is on the top, click on story and you can access the chapter/arc you wanted to play on the left side of the screen.
One of the most touching moments in the story that I still vividly remembers is when Kiana was still fighting over control with Sirin and she was in the lowest moment of her life that she tried to kill herserlf but Fu Hua stopped her before she could do it. I still cry when I remember it, like the whole story would have ended right there.
pretty accurate recap for the entire game. If I may add 1 plot point, Siegfried (Kiana and Durandal father) was not dead but was imprisoned by Kevin in some stigma dimension. Kiana and Durandal rescue him before Kiana and her friend fight Kevin one last time
You know, I was about to play this game once I set up my PC (yes I just got a PC on my birthday) so maybe I should play the game myself before I come back here lol
I stopped playing around 1.5 (probabl when Sirin battlesuit came out) because i just didn't have the time and was getting a burnout from playing HI3. that and because i just felt satisfied with Part 1's conclusion. I love seele she's one of my favourite characters but the burnout was just so real 😭 I reinstalled recently just because I actually finally felt like playing again, i'm just about to start doing 1.5 and try to finish it so I always love recap videos like this. There's a lot of jargon and terminology in hyv games, especially HI3, and whenever I need a refresher you always come in clutch. The events dumb things down for me and help a lot. Thanks man! You're probably one of the HI3 lore youtubers that I rely on, if not the only one.

14:54 - 16:30 these parts are intrinsically connected and I think it was a mistake to completely leave Elysian Realm out of this video. A short overview would suffice. Context: Elysian Realm is a supercomputational system deep inside World Serpent base built in the previous Era 50000 years ago. It runs a simulation of 13 flamechasers (their personality imprints) - warriors of the previous Era, who fought the Honkai. Kevin, Fu Hua and Griseo are the only surviving members. The idea behind Elysian Realm is to transfer authority of Origin to a person that is worthy. Before that came to pass, it was used as a training and trial ground for World Serpent agents like Raven. Mei, - now a World Serpent agent, - comes to the Elysian Realm at the suggestion of Kevin who, despite wanting to see project Stigma through, still wants to give project EMBER, - the one Fu Hua was in charge of, - a chance at fruition. It didn't require the sacrifice of humanity as we know it. Mei, driven by pursuit of knowledge of the previous Era and the First Herrscher, gets to know 13 Flamechasers on a personal level. At the end of the story ark it is revealed that Elysia, the 2nd Flamechaser, was in fact the First Herrscher. But unlike all other Herrschers, she was independent from destructive influence of the Honkai. She was an abberation, an extremely unlikely anomaly. She loved humanity unconditionaly and fought for it's survival. Previous Era lost the war against the Honkai, humanity was for all intents and purposes extinct. Before the surviving Flamechasers could give battle to the last Herrscher - the Herrscher of Finality, they've put multiple safeguards to ensure humanity's survival in the next samsara: namely projects STIGMA, EMBER, ARK (spaceship venturing to the stars, on which young Griseo embarked). Elysia did place a safeguard too, but in her own way. She returned to the Honkai/Caccoon, spreading her essense over it. Combined with the hacking of Caccoon of Finality's authority over Honkai energy by replacing it with what would later be known as Will of Honkai (Sentient AI created at that time, Prometheus), while also transferring said authority to Kevin, *this ensured that in the next era newly created Herrschers would be more like Elysia and can act independently of Caccoon's will*. Learning the truth, Mei, who earlier decided that she cares not of the world if there's no Kiana in it, now knowing of the defiant last stand of humanity and the 13 Flamechasers, how despite their differences and personality clashes they worked together to save the world they held dear, goes through a character evolution/growth, remembering that she, Bronya and Kiana are all fighting for all that is beautiful in this world. Elysia's sim metaphorically passes the torch by simple act of letting Mei better know her and her comrades' wishes, hopes, aspirations and love for the world. This is how unbeknownst to herself, Mei already acquired the authority of Origin. She only had to awaken it. As for the Elysian Realm, unfortunately, when Mei entered it, she unknowingly brought with her the Herrscher of Corruption, that she contracted during her missions/travels. The corruption spread, untill all the Flamechasers' sims were erased and incorporated into the Herrscher. Elysia's sim, who had the highest permissions in the system, was reawakened and reconstructed from Mei's memories. The only way to defeat the Herrscher of Corruption was to dismantle the whole system from the inside. Mei and Elysia bid their final farewells and Elysia gave final battle to the Herrscher, freeing her lost comrades from it's grasp to aid her. Flamechasers' sims, just like their originals, chose to sacrifice themselves once again for the future of humanity, erasing the Elysian Realm and killing the Herrscher of Corruption.
You forgot to add kiana finally knew the existance of captains that guide her behind the scene. And helping her on destroying kevin shield by shooting from hyperion on multiverses

good video like always, but there's an error when talking about Finale part 1: Kiana didn't absorbed all herrscher's powers, she was choosed as the HoFinality while Kevin, still absorbing CoF power, counted like a competitor to Kiana for that role. In the second part of the arc, the one stage based, Welt, Tesla and Mei had a discussion about Finality and it was said "even if there is someone who has really integrated all the herrscher power...that's still a different thing from her being the herrscher of finality" long story short, finality has a sort of omni-authority bc its the only true herrscher while the others are just a shadow of finality
thank you for the summary, im currently speedrunning the story to catch up and get sparkle when she comes out, watching some cutscenes but mostly skipping the earlier stuff.
I can't be the only one who can't follow this at all, right? How many hours of story are condensed into these 20 minutes? Because it feels like the answer is: waaay too many. This reminds me of those videos trying to "explain" the plot of Kingdom Hearts and it just turns into a convoluted mess that can only be followed by people who are already familiar with the story. I salute you for trying though.
I get that the info considensed it's a lot... but I haven't really seen people complaining about it in the comments. From what I see, people could follow the video pretty ok. But I get the point, and I can't really know who played the story already or not. I imagine that the video is much easier to follow for people who already know the story.

Honestly it works ok as a refresher for people who have played the story before. But I feel like for someone looking to actually learn the story for this it probably should have been double the length and somewhat slower paced. I feel like right now its too rapid pased and missing just a few key points I think should be explained just a bit more
I installed and deleted this game 3 times 1st time, out of curiosity but the gameplay seemed strange to me so I gave up. 2nd time, months later I decided to give it a second chance, figured out the gameplay, advanced the story and enjoyed the fights but then HSR came out and...no storage so... 3rd time, I made some space on my phone, decided to be more serious and realized that the full unlocked menu is too heavy for me, that there's too much content and lore and that I don't have time with the 2 other HoYo games (u need to farm to make ur characters stronger but you first need to have strong characters to farm etc) a never ending loop that stresses my lazy self out in any game. I always wished to know the story of HI3 and I'm thankful for finding your channel. This video helped a lot!
This is just great - so nostalgic seeing the whole story presented with the scenes you chose, remembering where I was when I was playing each arc. I had sadly quit before v2, feeling like the game I knew was gone, but just returned to the game a couple weeks ago. It felt like I was gone for several years but it was only about 9 months in reality. It isn't the same game anymore but it really made me happy to go back to it since it was a daily part of my life for song long. It's definitely my favorite gacha story (even though others are up there like PGR0, and I wish more games would take a character based approach like this. The character tourism most gauchos take, introducing someone and then forgetting them to sell the next character, makes stories so much weaker than following a core set of characters through a story like Hi3 (and that was my issue with v2, but at least it is starting to become apparent to me that v2 is connected to v1).
I think you have a very wrong impression of Part 2. It definitely follows in the footsteps of Part 1 and has a strong core of characters. It's such a great story with a lot of potential. I'm always sad to see people judging it so fast and brushing it off without giving it the proper chance to develop like Part 1.
@@HomuLabs well yes I am seeing that now, as I said. However the initial impression before it released was that the previous characters were essentially being replaced by ones that actually seemed like replacements down to the actual personalities while at the same time power creeping v1 units. The UI gradually being stripped away and other things made it feel like they were fishing for new players who wouldn't even bother with part 1 so they were trying to start fresh with part 2, thinking veteran players would stay and they would get new ones, proverbially having their cake and eating it too. I was clearly not the only one who felt this way either given how much of my friend list is filled with people who are long gone. Since it was obviously not an isolated issue I think they could have maybe set it up a little better to make it clear that there was actually a connection (and not just to 1.5, since that had its own issues). Now that I am playing it though, I am enjoying v2 and I do see the connection; the reason I came back was since I heard that this was being tied to Kiana. That is all I wanted from the start, but going through 1.5 it gradually felt like veteran players and the game we loved were not a priority anymore - whether that was true or not, I certainly wasn't the only one who got that impression.

there are some info that's part true but some are not and here imma bout to give it all i have gems are the cores of herrscher, but not a complete form. a gem can form when the honkai level is dense enough. herrscher cores are the upgrade form of gems, can only form when the carrier have high compatibility with the gem and honkai energy and the honkai power is over 2000 honkai watts. 2nd, wendy is not a herrscher, she can carry a gem but with no compatibility, she can't turn the gem into a complete core thus can't be a real herrscher, same apply to Owl. well, owl's last momment can become a new herrscher of the Earth but as what happened, he gave his gem to anna to form the Rimestar. As for the rest he recap the whole story quite good. Also, can you do a video about divine keys (god key)?
You are wrong about gems. Gems is a term used to refer to the 4 Herrscher Cores given to Sirin by the Will of Honkai on the Moon. What you are talking about are non-metamorphosed (non-awakened) Herrschers Cores vs metamorphosed (awakened) Herrscher Cores. For example, Bronya's Core of Reason was non-metamorphosed for the most part of the story until she became the Herrscher of Truth, but the Core was always referred to as the Core of Reason, not the Gem of Reason. And while its true that all Gems given to Sirin were non-metamorphosed at that time, that's not the reason they were called "gems". "Gems" is a name strictly used for those 4 Cores. That's it! Regarding the second point, it's a bit blurry depending on what you consider a Herrscher. While true that Wendy couldn't wield the true power of the Gem of Desire and was incompatible with it, she did use the Authority of Wind. By that logic, Bronya isn't a Herrscher either until Chapter 33.

Whoa, that's a whirlwind. Did Kevin ever actually use the name 'Kaslana' himself? I remember Mei asked him about House Kaslana because of how he resembles Kiana, and he said he didn't.
Yes, he uses it for the most of Part 1. Mei asked Sim Kevin in ER about it. And since Kevin only took the name Kaslana after coming to the Current Era (PE didn't have family names), Sim Kevin had no idea about it.
I wish I had like a 20 hour video explaining in high detail the lore and story because I try to get whats happening but i just can't every character aside from durandal and himeko are the same to me and I just can't understand whats what or what's happening I played back when it came out up to the thunder hursher awakening and then stopped because I legit couldn't keep up I was just so lost like who was good who was bad why was shit happening and how?💀😭 At least this vid has given me some hope to somewhat understand better whats going on but im still fairly confused on what some things are n why things are happening and why there are like 5 characters that look or might be the same person or maybe I miss understood whats happening 💀 I feel its impossible to get back in the game as much as I'd like to
There are 2 types of games : make multiple characters each with there own role and shove all the lore in a couple characters hi3rd is definitely the second type wich makes the lore really complicated with all that said than you you really the herscher that we don't deserve ❤❤😊
