I like that the design of the hull and wheelhouse are reminiscent of a Downeast lobster boat, giving the Hinckley 48 a classic look with excellent proportions. Very nice!
The Hinkley is a gorgeous boat, for sure. The only reservation is that from what I hear, it costs a fortune to maintain. The woodwork needs constant, PROFESSIONAL upkeep, and the jet drives always need to be cleaned out. But it really is a nice boat.
When we visited the company this past Tuesday they showed us the trim, That trim is made out of Teak, and the inside is made out Cherry. All of it has coating after coating of Marine Varnish. They have customizable options that you can have inset TVs pop out of the Ceiling or Walls with a touch of a button. One of their lower priced models is around 400k and It was quite an experience being inside one of them all finished. I'm looking forward putting in an application for them.
