The thumb studs are not for aesthetics on the flipper. They are the blade stops in the open position on both models. The detent is stronger on the flipper version making it harder to use the thumb studs. Edit: oh and its only a gen 4 in the 3” version. 👍
Yeah, meant to clarify that the thumb studs on the flipper aren’t usable as thumb stud deployments imho and I’ve asked many other people that have the same experience. Love my non-flipper tho! Mahalo
@@JackGHobbies I have the same knife except its red and working finish on the blade. Its a fantastic knife. Much better ergos without the flipper tab for my hands. Its a keeper for sure. 👍
