hindu multiverse is a hidden gem that even many indians dont know yet.

Btw, one interesting thing that many people don't know is that even atheism is part of hinduism. Where people don't believe in gods and only trust materialistic world. There is lots of philosophical branches in hinduism as you can believe in what you want. Main point is to be a good guy.

Vedic books have information about everything.Everything we know today comes from ancient Hindu library called Vedas. Indian civilization was light years ahead of today's world. Since colonizers tried very hard to suppress this knowledge and didn't want to admit that they opened a pandoras box in India.🙏 Btw, thw word sin, torment, demons etc has a totally different meaning in Hinduism. Because the only ideas we have in west about these things comes from Catholicism, which is a distorted form of the original ideas and was misunderstood.

When we say”Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” meaning the entire Universe is my home mentioned in Hindu texts , it encourages people to stand together and respect everyone. Hence the entire Hindu mindset is to be inclusive and celebrate life as we also understand Death being the ultimate reality and worshiping Lord Shiva who is also the Kaal , the one who governs time can be manifested in all we do . He wears ashes as a symbol that represents the end of all and the beginning of new.

There is one story where lord Brahma out of his arrogance kidnapped Lord Krishna's friends to test his power... After a long time when Brahma came to see why Krishna was not worried about his friends he saw that all of Krishna's friends were playing with him... It was then... lord Krishna revealed that they were him from other dimensions. He unraveled the multiverse before lord Brahma and made him realise the insignificance of his arrogance. There are many stories which explains how lord Shiva can see the future... He is the Supreme one beyond space and time and can exist and destroy all creation among dimensions.... It's pretty lit... One belief is that if we zoom out of our universe, there is another "Maha-Vishnu" which is basically a grander/true version of him that sleeps for eternity and every second he sleeps, he 'makes' a universe with his every breath. Our scriptures have given the world countless information about space, before the West have discovered them, we have been worshiping nava grahas ( nine planets) for thousands of year but as of today we are taught that bcoz galileo found the telescope we could see the 9 planets. Maja Kumbh Mela which happens every 12 years is to pray to the guru Brihaspati ( Jupiter) and it takes jupiter 12 years to completes its one revolution around the sun . And there is also exact distance given between earth & the sun in "Hanuman Chalisa ". Hinduism mainly Sanatan Dharma is based on science as we call it today. Our ancestors had the ability do the things that we today use gadgets & devices with their body itself. There are brief explanation of the quantification of time like sec, min, hr, years, centuries , yugas etc in most detailed way. We are just scratching the surface here even we hindus don't know how deep it goes & can we as human in this time have really the capacity to absorb all knowledge that they possessed thousands of years ago 🙏

The multiverse thing is interesting beyond imagination and Hindu texts has everything explained in Vedas . There are 4 significant Vedas that consists every knowledge that is worth knowing. We are just exploring it now . Cause the text is in ancient Sanskrit. Older Sages had all the knowledge but we are just warming up.

She said exactly the thing that is meant to be explained "our brain is too primitive to understand that" the soul however is not, it is all knowing and it is our consciousness. It has no beginning or end it stores more more information than we can fathom and that's what we call karma the whole point is too reach the level where you connect with your real existence that is your soul, which is beyond all material things. The closer a piece of music to the perfection of the sounds and rhythms of the universe the more it can Awaken in you. I've said a lot and i don't know if any of this makes sense, too much comes to mind when i talk about this topic too many examples and i can't really put into words but i hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. The movie externals take a lot of inspiration from Hindu cosmology they've obviously made it more literal in many ways but you can still understand a little bit from watching that.

This is all scientific research done thousands of years before by the great Indians proposed and now all the world is trying to find it out.. Its amazing how developed was Indian civilizations before all the world and its just not known to world... Small correction: each universe has it's own bramha but vishnu and shiva remains 1. You can refer lord krishna's statement to bramha.

@jabykoay I'm a born hindu and Hinduism suprise me and amaze me everyday cuz it's so vast and deep that it's impossible to understand it completely in one lifetime and that too in a lifetime where we are stuck in materialism, which has made us so corrupt and shallow and narrow minded. My simplified version of multi verse, we can take “movie theater” as an example. Just because you are watching a particular movie scene does not mean next scene is not there, it is there we just can’t see it “yet”. Same way there are parallel movies being played with different stories and intent “assuming” none of it is connected to others, but once you get out of the movie theatre you see all parallels. This concept is fascinating and yet people 5000 yrs ago thought of it, how cool were they?

The Concept of Kala or Time in Sanatana (Hindu) Science Mentioned below are some important seeking of Sanatana (Hindu) science associated with time as an aspect of creation. 1. Sanatana perceives time as cyclical. We see this cyclical pattern in days, weeks, months, years, seasons and yugas or epochs. So from this perspective, time is a never-ending cyclical process, which is both repetitive and exhaustive. In a sense it is limited. In another it is eternal. Time exists when we are in a state of duality but disappears when we enter into the state of unity(with the universe) or samadhi. 2. Each time-cycle has three components. Each time cycle begins with creation, continues for certain duration of time and then dissolves into nothingness. After a brief respite, the cycle begins all over again. Each day is created in the early hours, continues throughout the day and then finally dissolves into darkness. We can see the same pattern in life also, as childhood, adulthood and old age. 3. The duration of each cycle of creation in human years. He divided the cosmic time into Kalpas, which is a day and night in the time and space of Brahma(Universe). It is considered to be equal to 8.64 billion years. 4.32 billion years are the day and night of Brahman. Each Kalpa is further divided into 1000 maha yugas. Each maha yuga is again divided into four yugas, namely krita yuga, treat yuga, dvapara yuga and kali yuga. Their duration varies. Krita yuga the first in the series has the longest duration of 1.728 million years and kali yuga, which is the last and the current, has a duration of only 432000 years. 4. The lifespan of Brahma is considered 100 Brahma years, which is known as Maha Kalpa or Parardha. It is equal to 311.04 trillion human years. 5. A day in the life of gods is equal to one year upon earth. It is divided into day and night. The day is known as uttarayana and the night as dakshinayana. They are equal to 180 days each. 6. In Hindu tradition there is another division of time called manvantara. A manavantara is the period during which the earth is ruled by a particular Manu, the father of man. The word 'man' comes from the Sanskrit word Manu. According to tradition, a new Manu manifests at the beginning of each manvantara to produce a new race of human beings. Each manvantara lasts for about 71 mahayugas or approximately 308 million years. In each manvantara along with Manu appear seven seers or rishis and one Indra. In all 14 Manus appear in each Kalpa over a period of 1000 mahayugas in succession. The current Manu is 7th in the line and is known as Vaivasvata Manu. 7. The current yuga or epoch is known as Kaliyuga. It is the last in the cycle of the current mahayuga or great epoch. Its calculated duration is 432000 years. Kaliyuga began with the passing away of Lord Krishna some 6000 or 7000 years ago, then probably we are in the early phase of Kaliyuga and have a long way to go. 8. Hindu Purunas contain several narrative accounts in which celestial events span over longer durations of time. They describe gods waging wars, or practicing meditation or making love for hundreds and thousands of years.

Hey Ambre, I go through sleep paralysis a lot. Idk how far it is true but I have observed it happens more to me if I oversleep. Like if I'm not tired and haven't really done any work and slept a lot throughout the day. Working out/Smoking up/not sleeping during the noon has worked for me.

Ooooh I can't watch right now but I think I'm gonna love this! I don't know the original video. But there is stuff I've read in Hinduism, that is so different from what you see in other religions (especially Abrahamic ones) and so much more interesting. Like the idea that the universe will get destroyed at some point (by Shiva) then be recreated (by Brahma) is basically just like the Big Crunch theory. There's more but that's one example on top of my head.

The most crazy thing about sleep paralysis is the fact that it feels so real that I wake up scared as hell everytime I go through it. It's horrifying. Most of the times the instant feeling is more like being haunted.

I've been hearing all those theories since childhood. But seeing it in animation is quite fascinating. So to be honest I was more focused on unveiled video.😅 It is said that In dreams you can see your alternate self of different universes. Though it's 1 a millennium chance. But you know that it's you. Your memory and not a dream. Cause all your alternate selves are connected and dream is a door Kind of.

The sleep has its phases, one of which is a very deep one where most of the motor functioning part of brain is put to rest and only the neccessary parts of brain are active which controls the involuntary actions like heartbeat, breathing. So if by chance you woke up suddenly before your brain fully restarted, then u will feel the paralysis since their is a little lag for the brain to gain control fully again. Its supposed to be a very short time lag but may differ person to person. P.s. not a doctor, i learnt it in the haunting of hill house. Idk if its credible at all.

I want to also put the light on famous equation E=MC square, it means that matter can be transformed into energy. But vice Versa is also possible (not discovered yet). To conclude I want to say that spirit is an energy. We see ghost because some how it is getting converted to matter again. But they don’t know how to do that.

Actually there is time dilation in the hindu texts as well. In the swargaloka,360 years equals one swargaloka day(hindus follow the lunar calendar traditionally,which has 360 days , not 365) .for brahma,in brahmaloka(satyaloka),360 million years equals just a moment for him.

I have sleep paralysis. I used to feel some people watching me from behind. I used to get scared. But after reading that it is quite common, I started taking it lightly - not at all worrying about it (saying to myself "I will be fine"). This helped me quite well. Now, I am not feeling anyone watching me from behind or anything and also the frequency got reduced to once every 6 months. Also, my theory is this used to happen frequently when I was sleeping at odd hours.

It is said that when you die, based on your deeds (Karma) you either demoted or promoted to the other Lokas. Or probably just reborn here. We don't know if its scientifical, but it is theorized that when our astral forms (Soul) leave our body when we sleep. That's how we dream.

The approach followed is catholic...a lot of information has correctly been represented...but many of the facts have been catholicised... it's okay... can't blame anyone... everyone views with their own perspectives

To be honest, I thought this is the basic level of the multiverse / hindu cosmology concept that everyone would know until now! I didn't realise that it's a difficult concept to understand. I was able to digest this concept (to an extent) easily because I come from an orthodox sree vaishnava family ( it's like one of the top ones in brahmana caste to put it vaguely ) and concepts such as 7 lokas, pathalam, daivalokam, devathas and rakshasas, through mythology, concepts of multiverse told through short stories were common occurrences, a part of daily life. I realised that the way we grow up, the knowledge we gain as we grow up will help a lot when we actually grow up. And I feel kinda proud to be able to know much more than what a lot of people know. And also grateful to my origins. This is so sudden and random to feel such feelings but it is I guess. Anyway, the more you learn the more you don't know how things work is what I believe.

Preserver) in his childhood was punished by her mother Yashoda as some other people complained that Krishna eaten their curd... She asked him and then advised to open his mouth.... It is written that when Krishna opened his mouth, there is whole universe shown to Yashoda. Showing universe existing in another. You can check it as well

There's Baka brahma, Param brahma & many such variants of bramha mentioned...some of them R even mentioned in Buddhism, Shintoism Mythology of Japan & other East/southeast Asian countries..portrayed In their own version or way which influenced by Actual Indian/Hindu mythologies in past centuries!

The main difference between the concept of Heaven and Hell in Hindusim and of Abrahamic faiths (Christianity & Islam) is that, in Hinduism both Heaven and Hell are temporary places that the soul stays while it decides what their next birth is to work out their karma and finally merge with the supreme consciousness (via Liberation/Mukti/Samadhi) - which forms the ultimate goal. No one is condemned to hell or gifted Heaven forever. Those too have to be discarded to eventually merge with the supreme reality or atman. Our human birth should be to do good deeds, perform charity, meditate, pray ...all while doing our wordly duty like its devoted to God (ie. Without ego)

Sleep paralysis is very scary at times. It feels so real and sometimes I know that I'm asleep but it feels real and you can't even move or shout. I had no idea earlier what it was until I read about this. Mostly it happens when I'm too tired or when I slept in the evening and then again slept at night.
