I'm Muslim but I have read Gita and bible except my religious book Quran...But what I found is that Hinduism is the most scientific religion out of all.

My Muslim flat mate in London came from Iraq as an asylum seeker and don't know where his parents are all he has is his parents one picture. He everyday kiss that picture and sometimes cry. I am not very religious and hardly pray but, I love Hinduism. One day I was praying and kissed a picture of Krishna and he was like that picture isn't your God. I replied true it's just a physical representation of my Lord which reminds me of my duties and makes me feel better safe and connected with him. This is just a lifeless paper and I love Krishna NOT this piece of paper. The same way the picture of your parents aren't them but, through the picture you love them isn't it ? He went into deep thought and although as a Muslim he didn't agree with Idol worshiping but, he was an open minded person so he understood that it's not what I worship that matters it's who I worship that matters. Every time muslim bow down to a black stone in Kaaba and they say we don't worship stone. One time I bow down to a statue made of stone and I am an idol worshiper ? In Hinduism I can close my eyes meditate and take the name of God without relying on objects while in Islam you *MUST* worship towards Kaaba's black stone so who's more idolater them or us ?
Islam is a disease. Even if someone is worshipping idols what is the problem? At least they are not blowing people up in the name of Allah. When anyone worships images, it is the God that is being worshipped, and not the image itself. Hindus worship animals and trees as well. This is because they honour life, and believe in the true omnipresence of the God, and that God is definitely not the false Allah. If the God is omnipresent, he is present in everything, and thus, anything can be worshipped because everything is the abode of God. Krishna said in Geeta no matter what you worship, how you worship, your prayer would reach me. This is the nature of a true omnipresent God. He knows as he is the only God, and present everywhere, it is practically impossible to pray anybody else, not like imaginary sick Allah, who is always jealous of others. I just hate Islam.

The one you are explaining called bhakti yoga and the simplest way of connecting to the devine within us. Gyan yoga was supposed to be toughest but being in current time karm yoga became one. Being Athiest and reaching God is also good but very less possibility as it's vulnerable to the external thoughts and logics and often ends up believing in something that is not real. Completely my personal opinion... :)
Your video is beautiful , I would like to add one more thing here , when people do the Vigraha Pratishta there is generally a Yantra below the statue , this Yantra is a geometrical representation of Mantras , and then the Murthi is actually sculpted based on the Yantra . So even before the Prana Pratisha the Murthi and the Yantra together are giving out vibrations so Prana Pratishta is like sealing the deal.

The whole universe is the manifestation of GOD himself. Everywhere in this universe there is GOD, that is why we call him "Omnipresent". Every object in the universe visible to us, with different forms, is created by GOD; the Omnipotent GOD who creates the all the forms visible to us living or non-living. i would just like to add that Catholic Christians and possibly Orthodox (I'm not sure) believe essentially the same thing (a form of idol worship) in that they believe at mass the consecrated host undergoes what they call "transubstantiation" and the bread and wine literally become a physical manifestation of God worthy of worship. And there is nothing wrong with it, either ways, be It hindu murtis or christian "murti". My family is catholic and i have many times made Eucharistic Adoration myself In the Church. For me there is no doubt that the consecrated Host = the Murti has immense power. If you just sit in front of it, shut your eyes and concentrate your mind on it, it has an almost instant effect on you. I experienced this many times. It is like you effortlessly go into a Trance like State, something i never experienced elsewhere. It is a feeling as if your body begins to heavily vibrate and to become smaller and bigger at the same time, a feeling that is very alien compared to the normal waking Consciousness, but not unpleasant. Idols (murti) are considered as symbolism for the absolute but not the absolute, or icons of spiritual ideas, or the embodiment of the divine. Very well said! I used to use the example of the wedding ring and spouse pics in our purses to explain the logic behind idol worship. I have also been told by pujaris that its the presence of that god in and around that idol that makes the difference. Well, Christians and Jews do not have to go too far to understand that logic, because that is what they teach about the Ark of Covenant. The presence of the Omnipresent Yahweh dwelt in it, they say. Muslims also go to Mecca and conduct rituals. The concept of the energy of an Omnipresent God being present in various idols or places can be explained by the electric work inside a house. My own guru is muslim from practising muslim family and beside practicing Islam they were influenced by Vedantic school of Hinduism. Even though he now follow Hinduism but still maintain his muslim name as he think at core level all religions are same.

Harm of what? Harm of 'Prakriti' which is neither 'aatman' nor 'brahman' bcoz aatman and brahman can't be harmed or unharmed. Prakriti includes everything in our behavioural life that we have to deal with, both living & non-living. So it includes Human society and it's Dynamic Value System, Animal Kingdom, Plants, Water, Soil, Sunlight, different Celestial bodies and everything remaining in this physical world which I might be missing here. Making it more simpler, I would like to explain it one line or two: First analyzing one's strengths and weaknesses according to a given dilemma situation of either conflicting responsibilities or non-conflicting responsibilities (that need to be prioritized), one should take that decision (or even at least think of it because one's intention also comes in his/her Karmic fold) at that moment in the capacity of one's intellect, experience and understanding; which would bring the maximum 'benefit' to the 'Prakriti' in whole for the larger amount of time possible. Now this 'harm' and 'benefit' requires a very detailed subjective analysis that changes from one situation to another. Dharma evolves with time on the principle of 'least harm' and harm from challenges that also keep changing with time. For an example, let us take about 'peace'. Today to maintain peace in this age of war of faiths and civilizations, Dharma too has evolved by eliminating the principle of "One way Tolerance irrespective of what comes in return" and adding the concept of Poison Pills like Mutual-Respect and even Scriptural changes based on some minimum qualifier i.e., Mutual-Respect. Take any other real life examples like Vegetarianism, Best World Order, Democracy, Economy, Corporate Dharma, Feminism, Freedom of Expression, Diversity in Unity vs Unity in Diversity, etc and try to critically analyze it, and you would understand what Dharma is indeed. ******************************************** I see some Christians are not able to digest the win win concept of Mutual-Respect and cursing Hinduism of worshiping demons as imaginary Gods, let me also reply them in the language they understand: How to Destroy Christianity : Argument 1: “No Romans, No Salvation”: They say “Jesus died to save you from sins” but Jesus wouldn’t have died if the Romans hadn’t killed him. Hinduism is very simple -" Everything is God or God is Everything" but for the Christian and Muslims only Christianity or Islam is the only truth and the rest is false. We breed chicken so that we can eat them and I guss people there do that to snakes cause they believe it will give them good luck. The thoughts and explanation are deep and has science, psychology, way of living life, self - discovery, and how to attain supreme state of being happy. This should be the number 1 book in the world that says... "Go get it tiger... Your success, happiness, and life." Shri Krishna shows bigger picture about the cosmos and shows his multi - dimensional form which gives goosebumps to Arjun. It shook me to my cores and I found deep deep meaning hidden in those poetic verses. The one who reads Geeta attains supreme status and lives his life happily without worrying about death. No matter what you're doing, you'll still be happy and stop chasing after futile things like money, love, and bring your ego to zero. I always say to myself, "I wish I could've been Arjuna." Arjuna was the luckiest person in the history of origin of the cosmos. He felt the true God gripping his arms and taking him through a celestial journey of truth. What and how Arjun felt is still a mystery to me but I cannot describe in words what changed in my as I have not been sad, angry, lost, hurt or any pain since. So it includes Human society and it's Dynamic Value System, Animal Kingdom, Plants, Water, Soil, Sunlight, different Celestial bodies and everything remaining in this physical world which I might be missing here. Making it more simpler, I would like to explain it one line or two: First analyzing one's strengths and weaknesses according to a given dilemma situation of either conflicting responsibilities or non-conflicting responsibilities (that need to be prioritized), one should take that decision (or even at least think of it because one's intention also comes in his/her Karmic fold) at that moment in the capacity of one's intellect, experience and understanding; which would bring the maximum 'benefit' to the 'Prakriti' in whole for the larger amount of time possible. Now this 'harm' and 'benefit' requires a very detailed subjective analysis that changes from one situation to another. Dharma evolves with time on the principle of 'least harm' and harm from challenges that also keep changing with time. For an example, let us take about 'peace'. Today to maintain peace in this age of war of faiths and civilizations, Dharma too has evolved by eliminating the principle of "One way Tolerance irrespective of what comes in return" and adding the concept of Poison Pills like Mutual-Respect and even Scriptural changes based on some minimum qualifier i.e., Mutual-Respect. Take any other real life examples like Vegetarianism, Best World Order, Democracy, Economy, Corporate Dharma, Feminism, Freedom of Expression, Diversity in Unity vs Unity in Diversity, etc and try to critically analyze it, and you would understand what Dharma is indeed. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ BTW, we even worship stones, rivers, cows, monkeys, snakes, birds, insects, mountains, etc in gratefulness bcoz we believe that creator is not separate in manifestations from creations. Hi brother, i don't know whether u have the knowledge of why hindus are worshipping idols. well, i ll explain you with some simple example; if i broke down one of picture of yours, and if i ask people to spit upon it, how u ll feel and wat u ll do to me ? u ll simply hit me right. But surely u r not bodily present in that picture and that picture doesn't contain u r blood and bones. it is just a piece of paper and yet u think u ur self as that picture. so a man worship a image, he doesn't say oh! stone i worship thee, oh! metal be merciful, they represent the divinity inherited in that forms.....i truely believe that u got the exact answer i guess my beloved brother.
Idols are essentially symbols. Alphabets are symbols too. Bending and facing a particular direction is also a crude form of symbolic worship. Fraud and shallow terms used for manipulating fools. Whether it's symbolic worship or non symbolic worship /meditation, hindus don't need lectures from Abrahamic /Islamic clowns. Idols (murti) are considered as symbolism for the absolute but not the absolute, or icons of spiritual ideas, or the embodiment of the divine. They are a means to focus one's religious pursuits and worship (bhakti).
It's not the destruction of murti but the contempt and sinister hatred that people despise and should NOT be tolerant of. Doesn't mean being violent - unless ofcourse someone gets violent and it's self defence. But anger is a form of condemnation of not criticism but such blatent hatred of NOT a religion but our civilizational identity.
