Hip Caps 

I've been looking for a video to show how to lay out the hip caps, for being the ONLY vid. I found this is everything I need, thank you for the info! It helps me out greatly! Nicely done

On page 66 I cover making a cap for a turret or cupola. I include a table that is specific to the pitch of the cone/cap you desire. There are photos on this page of two cupolas with caps that I have made. Thanks for the great question!

I would go with zip screws for the whole installation.Rubber mallet that steel hammer will scratch n mar the finish.
