Thank you for this! I actually was doing this today - without knowing if it was a good thing. It just felt good. My hip felt sooo tight and so I took a ball and just did the same move you did. It's crazy how if you listen to your body, it will often tell you what it needs. Thanks for validating that I'm doing the right things! I'll do it again tomorrow!

This was so helpful for me. I tore my hip flexor a few months back, and as a retired dancer, I was completely aghast at the recovery time. This massage has definitely helped with easing the pain.

You train hard, you eat well…it should be enough to keep you in good health and physically and emotionally strong. Yet, there is a danger lurking in our bodies that's not only hidden from us… but which even doctors are failing to identify. It affects nearly everybody, no matter how active or sedentary you are, or how old or young you are. This problem affects not only our body but our whole well-being. nd when I tell you what it is, you'll be shocked, because it's tight hip flexors. In a moment, I'll reveal to you the 10 Key Moves you need to loosen your hip flexors and unlock the hidden power in your body. for more information, tinyurl.com/yyqsjmnh >

I miss being young and in shape. I’m 36 and 6ft 215. I am trying my ass off to get back to 185 after going through a lot of medical problems the last 5 years. My body is so tight, and my plantar fasciitis is hurting my ability to work out as hard. I’m going to try this and hip flexor stretches to help.

Thank you for this demonstrative video. I've been a runner for over 47 years. My injury resulted after running a half marathon road race 10 years ago (2012) and am having difficulty with complete recovery. I've been dealing with a painful right flexor for quite a while. Sometimes, I can't lift my right leg for walking due to right quad pain or right hip flexor pain. I've seen a physiatrist and have gone through a lot of physical therapy, but the injury returns. At the moment, I'm suffering with excruciating pain with my right hip flexor. The right quad doesn't hurt, but I'm unable to walk properly. I own a tennis ball and a larger rubber ball with sand inside. I'll attempt to incorporate your exercises using them.

Can a tight psoas on one side get the pelvis tilted on one side causing a leg to appear shorter?
@ccue0207
@ccue0207 4 года назад
You have the right idea. But it can also be a region of muscles causing the hip to tilt. I see this all the time w/my clients. It's common to have slightly tilted hips if your not stretching regularly or receiving therapeutic treatment. There is just always other factors like past sports injuries, lifestyle, work, etc

@@Activchiro okay....i fell while playing sports five years ago. Which lead to me having pains and reduce my movement around my hip. It really affected my sports, so i went to the hospital was given medication (cant remeber them) with anti - inflammation gel or so. My pain stoped but my sports is affected. If try dragging my knee to my chest i feel a pain and itch around my hip flexors. If i try lifting the thigh up it heavy and very difficult compared to my right leg. And also if play soccer i feel discomfort around that region. As at last 2yrs or so I started having muscle spasm at my left spine. Xrays have been done buh nothing visible at the hip.

+Aidan Boyko It is not wise to put anything like this directly on that muscle. You may receive immediate relief, but can do damage. You need to properly find out what is the root of the pain and start there. Where the pain is is not always the problem.
