An inspiring story of Dolores, 91 years old, and her rehab journey from a hip fracture and surgery. Told by the doctors that most people with her injury and at her age will be wheelchair bound or at best, having to use a walker for the rest of her life, Dolores was not satisfied with that potential outcome. Alison Nguyen, DPT, in our Garden Grove office had the pleasure of working with and being inspired by the grit, determination, and humor that Dolores displayed.

Seeing someone at their worst, yet having the motivation to get better, and then seeing the improvement is an awesome feeling. She put in the work and was able to return to her prior level of function, improving her quality of life. Our message is simple, if you are 19 or 91, don't accept limits.
