Its called a roar mate. Thy Art is a national treasure here in Australia. This song is relatively tame compared to other songs by these guys, nice review. Aussie proud metal head 🇦🇺🤘
Ariestein Villafania that song got me into real extreme metal. If I wouldn't have randomly heard that song, I wouldn't listen to anything I listen to now.
Thy Art is Murder is literally my all time favorite band. I swear you already did this reaction. I highly suggest Reign of Darkness by them as well as Purest Strain of Hate.
Newon17 oh ya ik I'm a metal head too I can understand scream, but unfortunately some people can't. especially because his main crowd listens to hip hop. just dropping a suggestion to Alex
@Dylan Garsee, Spite is a fake Hardcore band, and they look like an Emmure knockoff. I just looked back at their last few tours, they just tour with Metalcore or Deathcore bands. I didn't see them promote any local shows. Like Emmure, they're in it for the money not the music. Also they're touring with Attila right now, which is embarrassing. Knocked Loose is definitely not the best Metallic Hardcore band right now (I'm not even that much of a fan, honestly, but their more accessible than most of the music I listen to), do yourself a favor and listen to Jesus Piece, Xibalba, Integrity, Harm's Way, Terror, Disembodied, Code Orange, Incendiary, Twitching Tongues, and Cold World. Listen to three of these bands, then we can talk heavy music...
As I Lay Dying - My Own Grave. Read the backstory on the band and Tim Lambesis choices and why they weren't around for 6 years and now just came back. Shit goes hard
I love the wide eyes so much dude hahaha just completely pure exposure to a different side of music. I like how you dig into some of the lyrics throughout your videos and still jam to it too. definitely get more Architects up in here. would be cool to go backwards into their catalogue since you started with their most recent song. Architects - A Match Made In Heaven, Downfall, or Gone With The Wind Northlane - Citizen, Intuition, Obelisk, Rot, Quantum Flux, Worldeater, Dream Awake The Contortionist - Language 1 & 2
dude, seriously, The Black Dahlia Murder - What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse, Deathmask Divine, Nocturnal, Death Panorama, A Vulgar Picture... choose your poison
- Make them suffer - Let me in / Make them suffer - Requiem. - Blind guardian - Valhalla - As i lay dying - Confined - Breakdown of sanity - Broken wings / Breakdown of sanity - Hero perhaps even Aversions crown - Erebus please do either of these. Edit: could do Outlander by Jinjer, even though u did Jinjer before.
I'm a Metalhead by myself, and you really have my respect for beeing so open minded, try to unterstand talk about it. Thank you. The song "holy war" is really heavy, not only instrumental.
This makes me so happy, I was watching when you started listening to slipknot and was like it's only a matter of time till he finds the heavy stuff 🤘 but amazing channel man and look forward to seeing it grow and awesome content. You should check out after the burial cursing akhenaten
Finally haha so glad you vibed with this man, these boys are absolutely insane! Few suggestions: After The Burial - Lost in the Static In The Midst of Lions - The Call The Ghost Inside - Engine 45 Wage War - Stitch
you want some not so well known stuff ? ok i throw some fluffy stones in : Carnal Diafragma - Human Monster Biological Monstrosity - Experimental Insimination of Carnivorous Arachnids Into Human Females
This is one of my favorite band of all times i have been listening to Thy Art is Murders since i was 14 and im 24 now and still listen to them very very good bands from Australia hands down no doubt about it
We need more parkway drive! The song "karma" for the old stuff (crazy music video btw) or "wishing well" for the new stuff (crazy singing performance in that one)
I love that you explain what you think the subject of the songs you react too are. It helps with liking new songs bc idk about everyone, but to me the meaning of a song helps me connect to it an then enjoy it even more.
I used to hang out with CJ when he was the vocalist for Vegas in Ruins, the drummer Nate was my friend from school, which is how i met them, good to see how far he has come. still insane.
Yeah. It's actually the song that got me into Silent Planet and I just absolutely love it. I hope Alex does a reaction on it, since he actually gives his thoughts on the songs and I think that would be interesting
Most reviews channels I’ve seen are videos in their entirety with little to no commentary but the stop and go review of this exact video caught my attention and actual had me interested👍keep it up
A big thing to point is that it also tackles media used in war. If you look very closely you notice that while Cj (the singer) has a microphone but his eyes are sown shut and the drummer Lee can see but his mouth is sown shut. It references the fact that one side can talk and say everything (using the media) but they are blind to what is actually happening, while the other side don’t get to voice their opinion and their message and are only known for their actions. Like in wars today...
These reactions are so sick. Love your open mindedness. I have a few suggestions Thy Art Is Murder - They Will Know Another Parkway Drive - karma Parkway Drive - boneyards Killswitch Engage - the end of heartache Killswitch Engage - rose of sharyn I think any of these would get some decent views and you’d dig em all.
Drake krome dude chill out. First of all nobody said that ghost is heavy metal or heavy in any kind of way. Second of all, like many many people like ghost, me included. They are doing great music in their own genre, not in your heavy metal
You need to give the badass women of metal recognition bro.... like OTEP-TRIC IN THIS MOMENT - GUNSHOW or Whore STRAIGHT LINE STITCH - Black Veil BUTCHER BABIES - Dead man walking
In every video I see people asking for You Only Live Once by Suicide Silence. Please don't react to that one. It's by far their most bland, boring and commercial song. If you're going to react to Suicide Silence and you want to be impressed, react to the Price Of Beauty, No Pity For A Coward or Bludgeoned To Death. Sincerely
You only live once was the 1st song I heard by suicide silence and it was the 1st song that got me into deathcore but now I must say it is probably my least favorite song
Except that anyone without a lot of exposure to metal would absolutely hate No Pity. To Alex, it would sound like that very stupid cliche: "metal is just noise". The whole song is based on a huge and intricate drum section with an A minor chord sweep in the very end. I'm afraid that the only Suicide Silence songs Alex would dig at his stage are Disengage and, you guessed it, You Only Live Once. Also: fame does not justify hate or boredom. You Only Live Once is a good song, and you shouldn't act like it's shit simply because more people know it.
Wow!!!!! I never seen your videos until this! I'm a huge "thy art" fan and metal fan so I found this reaction. Your interpretation of the lyrics and imagery was spot on, 100% , NAIL ON THE HEAD. Excellent video! I love seeing peoples reaction from "outside" the "metal scene". I am so glad to see how open minded and articulate you are! This was refreshing to see. Thank you so much.
Disturbed - Indestructible Five finger death punch - Under and over it Three days grace - I hate everything about you Pillar - Frontline Thousand foot krtuch - Skillet - Resistance Thousand Foot Krutch - War of Changes Sick Puppies - You're going down :)
I'm super impressed with your decision to step so far outside of your comfort music. I listen to very many styles and genres of music and I'm glad to see you've taken such an extreme step towards TAIM and bands like this. Keep staying open-minded, brother!
The Black Dahlia Murder - "Statutory Ape" (or "A Shrine to Madness", or "Nightbringers", or "Deathmask Divine", or "What a horrible Night to have a Curse", or "In Hell is where She waits for me", or "Receipt", or anything else) Best Melodic Death Metal Band out there!
Silent PLanet - Panic Room: Next Level of lyrics August burns red - The Frost : great technical level and flow in this song The Contortionist - Return To Earth : this is NEXT LEVEL OF MUSIC, FROM THE FUTURE!
Nice! TAIM is one of my favorite bands!! Hope you can check out Periphery!! Maybe listen to: Stranger Things Marigold Make Total Destroy Scarlet Erised Icarus Live!
Bro, honestly... I am a big metalhead. And metal music is like a cancer that keeps growing nonstop. I started listening to rock music like journey and foreigner, and now... gorgoroth and mayhem. Can u believe it?
I know you get too many suggestions to try out all of the great songs thrown your way. That being said, I know you love to dig through interpretations of songs. You will not find better lyrics than any song by Make Them Suffer. Poetic, haunting, gorgeous, and most important of all REAL. I would love to see you experience these guys, even if, without a reaction video. I would suggest the song Elegies.
Metallica - Anesthesia (pulling teeth) live in chicago 1983. It shows off how amazing cliff was at bass. And the video quality is stunning for 1983 so it is a high quality video which makes it easy to watch. It is an instrumental which means no lyrics and the intruments do everything. You havent reacted to an intrumental yet so I think you should try it.
If you liked this song by thy art is murder, reign of darkness is one of my favorites from them. Also another band I enjoy is signs of the swarm-cesspool of ignorance. The singer is one of the best growlers I’ve heard in metal.
