This song was my first introduction to Linkin Park. My friend had just bought their first album, *Hybrid Theory*, shortly after it came out, and the first thing we did after he bought it was listen to it. ‘Papercut’ is the first song, and we were both hooked immediately. I just now realized that was over half my life ago. I haven’t spoken to that friend in nearly a year. It’s the middle of the night right now, so I’m going to call him tomorrow. Thank you for stirring up that memory for me, Alex.

The first album I listened to start to finish and absolutely loved every second of it. This album while reading the book “I am Legend” it fit so well and made it such an amazing read IMO.

Chester's vocalization at the end gave me chills. He was such a talent. I miss him.

This is the song of my life. Discovered as a kid, stuck to me for all my teenage years. Learned it on guitar, bass drums and even gave it a shot at turntables. I'm trash at scratch.
