Someone commented kuti ndave mujiba for driving in Harare… ndajaira hangu Masvingo! 🫣… but yeah I just avoided peak times, CBD (except passing through to join Seke rd to get to Chitungwiza) and driving late at night.
This is Zimbabwe for you. You would have been better to hire your car at the Airport in Harare from a reputable company like Europcar , Avis, and Hertz. It's straightforward. What I don't like, though, about hiring cars in Zimbabwe is the mileage limiting. Price depends on how far you will be travelling to. Impala is a no for me.
Would've been ideal, but i was coming from Masvingo. Also nice to support our own trying to make a living, recommended by my brother-in-law. 😊.. what's Impala 🫣
The reality of dealing with bogus car rental in Zimbabwe. I had a horrible experience last October. I’ll spend my money on expensive car rental than zvaana musiyamwa.
@@mzee5533 sorry for your experience…my brother did too. But these guys weren’t bogus, used by my brother in law who lives in MP Harare… ndinizvangu ndinoita anxiety
I dont get what pple get from complaining. Like seriously, who doesn't know about Zim challenges and struggles. Vanhu vari muComment section itai mushe
I always go for Mayflower, everything is impeccable from cars, customer services etc. when you have a problem with the car they either fix or replace. I think like anywhere some businesses are good and some not somuch. Use reviews for anything.
Hired a car in Zim last August, OMG what a disaster, the car had a dead rat in it and although they cleaned it, the stench lingered throughout our whole hiring period. The service was atrocious, we had to hunt down our deposit, and you can imagine how onerous this is was to do remotely, as we had already left Zim. So THANK YOU for this plug!! 💃🏽🙌🏽
Oh wow! Must've been hectic for you. Hope you got your deposit back... I hear people just give you car even vana Hertz without a thorough checklist like I had. At least i knew what i was signing up for. Faith was amazing and so professional 👏🏾
With the cowboy driving that happens in Zim and the lack of traffic lights, which I believe you are not used to, how did you even manage to drive around ?
😂..true!! I avoided driving into CBD and driving during peak hours or late at night. It's tiring having to think about what other drivers are doing AS WELL AS watching the road for potholes! I did not "argue" with the drivers...i took my time and let the cowboys 😂 through
@nyariclaire Thank goodness you managed to find your way around safely.. You are officially a Comrade, a Mujibha ... Thank you for taking us along KuZimbabwe and showing us your beautiful family etc ..
Should've done your homework before getting there...was in Zimbabwe a few days ago...plenty of affordable car rentals with airport shuttle services...Toyota Fortuners @100/day...Mazda CX5s @60/day...next time try Palmlog Car Rentals...no hassles.
