Instead of putting the prices lower than the market you can actually put them 15-20 cents higher than the market, the customers won’t mind and you won’t get less customers or less sales because of that. And in the long run it will make you a lot more money.

I hope there will be an option to either train or hire better employees because that cashier was excruciatingly slow!

I always spend the morning stocking products before I open the store. I make sure I have two full shelves of everything, with an extra opened box stacked up behind the checkouts to top up with throughout the day. Haven't bothered with a cashier or the storage yet, I enjoy doing it all myself. Just picked up my third licence, curious to know how long I'll be able to keep up!

Maybe there will be an employee who stocks shelves with things from storage, beacuse it's says that more emplyees are coming soon

Buy stuff at the beginning of the game day. Stock shelf, then open store.

Tip: there are up/down arrows next the the products on the computer to tell you which products had price changes. Also, if you get more shelving, (and expanding) you can load more product onto shelves. Thus you won't even need to stock during the day, and can do it all each morning before you open. p.s. you will need to get another checkout counter and do some checkouts yourself to advance high enough to be able to hire another cashier.

The storage room is a waste of time currently, we need to be able to access it from within the store for a start. I just fill my shelves and buy extra before opening, having boxes all over the place, much easier to keep on top of stock

If you had stick to your mentioned plan to fill the shelf with one product per shelf, it had helped you for the moment perhaps until the next upgrade. Save up the money for the products of the next upgrade before you upgrade it and fill the shelves before you open the store.. 👍

I like how you get the chance to stock the store and the clock doesnt start until you hit open.

I feel like the storage should be for hiring a stocker, and if you have the box in there he will see it and will walk over and stock it for you and the rate the cashier works

If you would have kept them on the shelf in the same order as the market it would have been easier to keep track. It will get worse..lol. Your also going to have to get a second register and work it yourself, it will take too long to get to level 20. You just need to get organized. You have unlimited time before opening the store, use it wisely. I'm having a blast with this game. Great video.

to save your sanity you should do all your stocking in the morning before you open the store, you can also do all your ordering then also, i have advanced to the point where i need the entire shelf (both sides for each product, it makes stocking much easier and you also run out less, if you dont have the products they want your losing money because thats money you could have earned that day. it does start to feel like shelf stocker simulator after a while lol, the storage does become essential because i find myself buying 10 boxes of each product at a time im sure soon it might be even more at a time

Their discord says they will be adding stockers this week/next week hopefully so got that to look forward to.

A delay from when ordering to when delivered would help the need for storage and pre planning, plus direct access to storage and products delivered on pallets into storage room

you need to buy a shelf stocker who takes stuff from storage to displays that are low, & says "eh Boss we're runnin' outta X!" & has a % based minimum level to restock. THIS would be whats needed that way you just have to chuck stuffs in the storage & focus on expanding the store

I'm not prepared for the day it does auto stock only to have everything put in the wrong place XD I hope we will be able to label shelves or have some way of keeping everything organized.

I didn’t think I’d be so into a video game about the grocery store. Considering I work at a grocery store. It feels more fun in game than real life 😂 why?!!

It would save you if you just fill the whole shelf. Plus with store bigger add more shelves and have one for each item full all the way thru. Keep items on the shelves like they are on the computer so if you do run out you can find it easier. Like bread is between cereal and oil

Just buy your stuff in bulk and let the boxes stay behind your cashier. The storage room as of right now has no use. That way you can more easily restock your products without going to Narnia and back. Also increase all your products price by 1$ because customer frequency right now is based on product and price and your prices are pretty low.

The storage is for storage. You can order and store extra boxes so you don't have to order them every time you need something

just tidbit ive noticed, dont make purchases that will leave you broke. Buy enough to fill shelf +1 so learn how much fills a shelf where you have it, then buy the necessary then one extra box, that way you can start to build stock and not have to spend so much time thinking on the computer. May help with stocking speeds

QOL update needed. Shelf stocker, and auto purchaser program, and the shelf stocker needs to get/bring in the boxes

Storage would be good if you only dedicate a certain amount of space to each product and you have extras in the box you could store the partials? Other than that I can’t see a point for it either Z!

maybe its better at least early on to buy more then one box of an item so you dont have to re order the same item so often. and maybe when you have other licensees unlocked, the customers will have more options on what to buy.... so maybe you wont run out as fast with more options for them

There does need to be a stocker like on the gas station simulator game you played.

you can get a second check out stand for you to use when there is a line and you are gonna need one anyway to get a second checker but im not sure if you need to be a certain level its in the furniture page

You need to fill the shelves fully before starting the day. And then restock during the day on what's selling most.

U might try a price hike

Save more money, don't upgrade/buy more licenses that early, order LOTS each morning. Ideally you shouldn't have to order any more throughout the day. If you think of it from a realistic perspective there is a lot more work put into stocking and organizing than just minding the cash register. That's just a tiny job compared to everything else that happens at a supermarket.

Would recommend rounding up to the nearest dollar if it’s like $7.95

Buy all the stuff through out the day and fully stock it during the night.

Storage is were you get shelf’s for storage later and they will stock the shelves for you later look it up on here

If you don't immediately open the store in the morning, the clock stays at 8:00 a.m. and you have all the time in the world to restock EVERYTHING!

Future updates will be adding more things (More employees(Stock person), House, etc). But "auto stocking" would take out the whole point of running a "supermarket" lol. But since you have your cashier finally, All you need to do is just keep an eye on the shelves and watch what needs ordered, or if you start making enough, but 2 boxes of everything and set the boxes in the Storage to save purchases from later. And of course buying more room (expanding the store more).

U can see what prices did go up/down in the Market Order side, there are the unit prices and a green or red arrow

Raise prices of everything in the store. Buy two times what you need on the shelf

bruh buy all the products and make sure all your shelves are full then gradualy as the products are bought buy more stock, cause by the end of an episode you would have leftover stock laying around and you can just stock the shelves when the day is over or when you begin another day. anyways just play Retail tycoon 2.

Stop buying upgrades and buy product. Buy more than one box at a time and you won't take a half hour to do each turn.

You can keep the price closer to the market price to maximize your profits as long as you have a cashier now, no need to keep it at the $0.25 increments.

Maybe play the game the way it was intended, it's called Supermarket simulator, not couch potatoe simulator lol.

The storage is pretty useless I think the developers should change it so it's actually attached to the store for example through a door next to where the computer is then it would actually be useful.

Day 1 of asking for bear factory back

So unorganized. Hmmm, what would storage do, maybe store things? Yeah, I can totally see a room walking around stocking shelves. And if boxes had feet, they would walk up to shelves maybe? If you are not having enough shelves (one per item) you run out. Why don't you do it in an organized fashion? In the morning, before opening, fill up the shelves (the lowest part is for overflow). Then you can order things ahead during the day which are being purchased heavily and stock them on the go. Pay the bills and end the day. I see no problem. Don't get licenses too early, expand and get the storage first so you can buy the license, stock the shelves, adjust prices and the star to open. Also, daily price changes are visible with green and red arrows on the order page. But only the ones for the day. I think we need someone to play this game for us, that would be cool, so we could sit back, do nothing and rake in the money from the store.

Btw you're always undercutting the market price. You're loosing out on money. You should be able to set the price between 10-25% more than the market price and still sell like crazy

Why don’t you just buy more shelves and more product so you’re not constantly restocking.. buy 3 of each item instead of buying one of everything every time

INSTEAD of just ordering and stocking it!" i have 5 licenses unlocked so far. two cashiers. and i have no issue keeping up with ordering and restocking. You just have to grind it out and stay on it. If you're standing around, you're wasting time. If you aren't making 8 orders in a single day, your being lazy. Buy and extra register, and plop it down when it gets busy, you can pick it up and repackage it till you need it again. You wasted that money on storage, everyone does lol it's pointless. Pick a spot against the wall and store stuff there. you don't need storage room till you get MUCH bigger!

Also when you first open the game in the top right there is a area where the devs say what they are going to put in the next update!!! @Z1Gaming
