@@alexbruckshaw1448 when Genesis evolves, it doesn't put Guard and Defense artifacts in your deck, instead it summons them on the field. Also it has no special effects after the evolution (so 90% of what was happening was bs) and canon artifacts only activate when at least 6 artifacts with different names are destroyed (and there weren't). The closest thing you get to the "all artifacts gain +2/+2" effect is when you play Shion, however that's a completely separate card and it's a one-time effect.

@@mrgopnik5964 so fun fact: this fight happened before genesis artifact came out in shadoweverse. It was made for the first 3-4 packs format. So when these cards were released to us, they were buffed/weakened. For example, Ignis dragon does not draw 2 in the anime, and dark emperor does evolve if you have wrath, and does not have any burn to your opponent. So technically, in shadoweverse card game is the real genesis is wrong

Honestly, there are lots of times Hiro could've lost. Like his first against Luca, or his first match against Leon or this match or any match. But at least he finally lost, as shown in Flame.

tbh I was kind of disappointed... on the "Resonance" visuals. I was expecting a blue aura surrounding the player, like how Hiro and Luca with their clan specific powers.

The amulet Hiro has caused Ignis dragons effect to deal 4 damage instead of its normal 3 damage to the followers that where keeping Leon protected from taking damage by the effect of his favorite card. With those destroyed upon ignis dragon declaring his attack on Leon directly the damage went through

Wait, so what you’re telling me is that Hiro really altered Ignis Dragons effect to make it deal 4 damage to all followers instead of 3? I guess he’s just allowed to cheat now? I don’t think they realize that in all great card game anime, the main protagonist, LOSES OCCASIONALLY CREATING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Making a protagonist that just fucks everyone over just for the hell of it makes every fight with Hiro in it an absolute slog to watch. I’m not mad, just disappointed
