Dang....time to break out the M.I.G. or T.I.G machine....she'll be as good as new Great videos Vee. That split in the frame is definitely stressing other parts of the frame. I would split some tubing,square the frame back up and weld her in. She sounds like a true 🌟

(someone in ur comment said it) And plugging off the balance tube is common. It is supposed to give the bike hp gains. Is it proven? Yes, but not any noticeable difference. They actually make plugs for it. It really didn't matter what they used. The end result is the same. Same as boost bottles. They really don't make much of a difference on stock jugs and pistons.

If you don’t know what year your bike is and someone told you 2000 when you bought it from him it is actually an 06 to me that makes bells and whistles go off and think it’s a hot banshee

That is a common break point. They were going to beef that area up, but they stopped production on those. Why? 🤷‍♂️

Wasn't big failure issue reported or they knew production was ending soon. Yamaha is prob best jap brand overall. Have a '10 YFZ450X & '21 Raptor 700R-SE. Love em.

It don’t matter what you do the first thing that needs to be addressed is fixing the frame because you can make it run like a scalded dog, but with the frame fucked up it don’t matter nothing it ain’t worth two shits
