I’m not saying that Tyron is necessarily wrong, but it’s all well and good talking about how much money you made post-UFC, but he hasn’t even had 1 MMA fight since he left… :/ He hit a stroke of luck with Jake Paul electing him to be his opponent. In another universe it isn’t him, and it’s someone else. He can claim that “I name my price”, well, if you’ve been naming your price, seems like nobody has taken you up on it, because you haven’t signed anywhere and you’re now in your 40’s. :/

Keep trying to tell people, wanting for these fighters to all make millions like boxers is unrealistic. The fight game in general does not pay no matter the sport. But the opportunity you get to boost your brand and promotion in the UFC is unmatched. Even if you retire/get cut without making the big bucks, you can demand more money just because you’re a former UFC fighter. Look at Mike Perry.

I’m glad he allowed himself to be vulnerable so he could receive Tyron’s advice. The UFC is not the end all be all. Yes. You can ascend to glory very quickly in the UFC. But you will never earn what you’re really worth. Dana is addicted to gambling. You don’t want a person like that dictating how much you get paid in one of the most dangerous and toughest sports on the planet….

T Wood is giving solid advice however I don’t believe he’s the most sought after free agent in the game. His decline was rapid and I’ve never seen that fire in him since his fights with Wonderboy or Till. I didn’t agree with a lot of his takes as a champion and he seemed like he sat back a lot in his prime rather than taking all challengers, he liked to be backed into a corner it seemed like for him to preform. Maybe he was afraid of his own success? I know the T Wood who fought Till or Lawler could have smoked Colby or Paul but then again that explosive power could have been watered down with age; Father Time gets everyone eventually. All n all nothing but respect broke my heart seeing him KO Lawler and I seriously felt bad for him after his second Jake Paul fight

Honestly if cory was to get cut i could see him doing amazing in onefc. Tbh i think the competition in onefc is alot better than ufc because theres so many belts (that dont get confusing like boxing) and i dont think they do lots of weight cutting over there but im not 100%. Either way i firmly believe that onefc has better competition and talent where as ufc has lots of stars and way more eyes on it. Ufc is where the majority of mma fighters want to be
