This is so beautiful! This is one of my favorite songs, too. I cry every time I hear those words, "Then they took his hands, his mighty hands, those gentle hands, and then they pierced them...and he let them, because of Love. " What a reminder, that he suffered and died because he loved us. His hands bled in the Garden of Gethsemane, and on the cross at Calvary, because he loved us, even the worst of us. I hope, as a Latter-day Saint, I am making my hands like those hands from Galilee.

I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. 💗

This song really touched my heart. I Ike the lyrics of the song. This helped me realize that Jesus Christ loves us all that he sacrificed himself for us to be saved.

I heard"His Hands" for the first time on Easter Sunday during Sacrament Meeting. Tender Mercies from my Lord and Savior. I do love Him. My intractable and unceasing pain from arthritis melted as I felt Him lift and cradle me throughout the Service. My pain did not return until I felt him gently return me to my seat AFTER the very last note of the very last hymn and prayer of our Easter Morning meeting. ALL things are possible in Faith.

I believe in Jesus Christ I love him with all my heart and I know he loves me and he loves all of us

This is one of my favorite! I really apprecite the line that said.."...and then they pierced them, they pierced them, He let's them...because of LOVE! He allowed all hardships to come to HIM to fulfill the Father's will that we may be saved if we will follow Him! I'm grateful that Jesus Christ loves me so much...I'm PROUD TO BE A LATTER-DAY SAINT!

I would love to sing this song as a testament of and to Him! I love it!

His hands touched my heart as a small child. I would sit beneath them for safety when I felt scared. His hands healed me many times along my journey. His hands lead me to become a healer. Master teacher, healer and mentor. I will always remember I AM.

I'm not a big crier yet this song makes me cry a lot. Especially at the end...I can barely watch! Sometimes I turn my head and I just can't. A sinless soul had to bear the sins of others to take their sins away. He was the most perfect person in history and yet they crucified Him when today there's lots of good people and they're not even perfect but they don't get crucified (like me). We are all sinners and I'm ETERNALLY, IMMENSELY grateful for my precious, loving Savior! Thank you Heavenly Father for sacrificing your only Begotten Son and thank you Jesus Christ, for everything you have and ever will do for me. I wish I could somehow pay you back but I know I will always be in forever debt to you and yet you still accept me in Heaven. Wow. Thank you for this beautiful video!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing. I sang this song in my last week in my mission. It was a version in Portuguese. My gifted and lovely companion Elder Brown played the piano and I was generously invited to sing - may you know that I have no talent to sing :) 20 yrs ago. This song expressed the most deep spiritual feelings of my soul - the very imperfect man an his attempts to become and do what his Savior did. I know that my Savior lives. My soul knows. Now I know it much more, I understand better and appreciate in a better way this everlasting song.

I agree. I was recently gently reminded that our Savior was never dismissive, or condescending, and came to save the very people who reviled him. I will take your comment to heart, and strive harder to be like Him, and reach out in love and understanding to those who need it most, rather than trivialize or de-humanize those who are blinded by the adversary.
