This might be the wannabe dupe for Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue, which is, of course, a men's fragrance. I haven't smelled Dylan Blue or Marina Bae, BUT being the nerd I am, and intrigued by the notes in the freed perfume because some brands are notorious for picking up the blueprint of notes from expensive perfumes.... I thought it might be possible even for freed to do that and went to fragrantica, and out of all the perfumes in the freed line, Marina Bae has the exact notes of Dylan Blue minus papyrus. Although ambroxan was voted as the most noticeable, doesn't seem to be the case according to your review so that might be where the difference lies but yes, this could be the (very) possible dupe for Versace Dylan Blue and that is the reason you're smelling like a man because it's straight up copied from a men's fragrance. Honestly, in my opinion, I like the smell of citrus and aqua, so I was quite excited when I saw the notes and ambroxan, and the other notes would just make it better.... I really hoped they would make this the female version of Dylan Blue but tweeking the weight of the notes and build it to be more light, aquatic, sweet, and some cutrus with a hint of spicy and floral. I wanted to buy this after a little while when I made some more room for my collection, but now I'm debating after your review.
