@@cheesstick3108I started a business to fund my house and my legs the price is going up again next year the more popular it is. Paying my 5k at the end of the year to lock in the price.
@@davidekero4526 no it's not lol. This is typical especially of patients who go to clinics where their privacy is respected unlike some clinics you see online that are creating complications to the unbeknownst prospective patients. You can simply join the discord and message Julius if you'd like. The many patients that have sent me content are not comfortable with it being publicly displayed. I'm sure you might be similar if you got it done. Not everyone gets paid to do a patient testimonial ; )
Brother you are amazing. I'm currently 18 years old and my height is 168cm, I am insecure about my height just because its lowering my confidence as a young adult. I've always been the short one as a highschool student, in the soccer field and in the public. Before, when I was a little younger I didn't really care about it but as I am growing up its lowered my confidence by a mile. I really want to get in touch with you so you can guide me on this brother. I've joined your discord and messaged you. Keep doing what you're doing, big respect for you :)
@@Cyborg4Life i also want to thank you for what you do bro, i took the surgery because of your channel and all the information you give. Thank you so much because right now im on my 1 month post surgery mark (about 1 inch taller) and even the the pain is real the excitement of whast ahead is awesome. Once again thank you very much for your videos and all you do. 🙏 P.s. if you could please do a videa about how to traeat tue pain during the 3 months of lengthening process, what to do to avoid most of it if possible because it hurs now more every time i use the ERC. (Iam on precise femur) Thanks again. You really rock.
You can join the discord and ask him. But he said he did lots of preparation before surgery. Here's a good free resource...cyborg4life.com/secrets - look for road to resurgence
Another excellent video! This is great anecdotal evidence for what I believe which is you will benefit from LL even if you are around average height. There is a ton of debate on the LL forum on LL at heights like 5’9” and whether it is beneficial. I believe it is. It may not be as beneficial as lengthening from short (5’5 ish) to becoming average. But if you are below 5’11 to 6’ I think getting an extra 2 to 3 inches is going to still have a massive benefit. I’m 5’9” and in my experience most women would find you significantly more attractive with a couple more inches. Also general perception of tall people is that they are more charismatic, confident and better leaders. What do you think Vic? Would LL still provide substantial benefits starting from an average height?
I do. I have spoken to a significant (majority) of patients who were 5'7 --> 5'9 starting and went up 2-3 inches. I think the ones who are over 6ft may not see a tremendous external public response but may still notice it themselves which is what matters at the end of the day
I do. I think medical device companies all are now aware of the opportunity. That will bring in supplemental device and treatment modalities as well. This industry has evergreen demand (people who need discrepancy fixed or those wanting to get taller) and although controversial, that hasn't stopped companies from wanting to make money by solving some aspect of a process for a desired process
Can you do a video segment that focuses strictly on follow up/recovery of patients along with video proof of walking gait and walking in public among people
Can you confidently walk 1 month after lengthening with non weight bearing nails when you’re 120 pounds? (And you do everything you’re supposed to do) or should you wait for the new stryde if you want to be able to walk with the nails inside of your legs for the rest of the year? Great video btw thanks
I would say wait for the new weight bearing nail. Walking on any device that can't handle the capacity of your full weight on one nail is very risky business
Yeah people will respect you more at a taller height. I have a friend who is my height - 5'4" who has never struggled dating or with work and socializing but he has to overcompensate majorly with his personality. I've just never measured up to him personality wise and i think it would be nice for people to accept me more easily so if i ever say the wrong thing here and there it doesn't rock peoples worlds.
would you say he had such recovery and athleticism because he was in his early 20s? or if he was in mid or late 20s he would recover same ways if all the factors were same?
Very good question. I would say a lot is due to age but patients are also recovering well even twice his age. I think it was good surgeon, good PT compliance, and then age helped with the speed of time to feet etc.
A non weight bearing nail, you mean precice2 right? I need about 4 cm in one leg (discrepancy). Is it possible to weight bare? What's expected in terms of recovery, time to being able to walk without assistance?
Welcome to my world! No not with the precice 2. You'll have to use crutches for a while. But they have a new nail coming out around valentines day - unless they get delayed yet again smh. I know it could be worth it for many.
Would you recommend a Turkish surgeon? I live in Ireland and came across your page and it’s honestly a gift but I know you got yours in the states and presumably that would be safer
Hmmm when picking a surgeon you want to factor in experience to avoid complications and to perform surgery properly. I feel we should discuss this. Shoot me an email
I can't imagine not being able to squat for 6 months to a year or run on the treadmill let alone slowly walking up stairs. Also if you have a girlfriend what happens to love life during those healing months you can't put it down the way you are supposed to for a while I imagine.
Is lengthening 5.5 cm tibia low risk? Can you walk normally unassisted within 3.5 months after the initial surgery? (1.5 months after removing fixators)
Hi Victor, thanks for brining awareness to this procedure. I just had a quick question, what do you think of the surgery center at LiveLifeTaller in Turkey. It’s seems like they are the only place in the world that has a rehab center for LL patients post surgery. I’m thinking of going there, do you think it’s safe/is the surgeon is qualified to be doing the surgery. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Yeah - the most experienced clinics all have top notch PT places with actual qualified PT's who ensure full functionality as the day walked in to get surgery.
No not usually recommended for safety. A muscle contracture is likely at the knee and or hip if you do femurs that much. And when done in tibia (recently heard about a patient that did 10cm tibia) - severe ballerina foot needing gastro-soleus recession and achilles tendon lengthening.
How long until you pass out from the general anaesthesia pre-surgery? Is it like 2 minutes? Do I feel a thing while I'm under general anesthesia. I really want to be sure.❤.
Hey I was concerned about going under more than the surgery itself. I understand you. I remember the anesthesiologist came over to me and said, “I’m going to give you something to relax you.” She administered whatever meds and I was out within 90 seconds. I woke up with the nails in my legs. It’s been 2 years and 2 months since my surgery and I would do it again
It definitely did. I don't know if the mods changed anything. It was super detailed. In fact if you read all of his recent notes you'll get your answer
@@Heheha329 I'm 172cm and I can say there's a clear difference in how people view and treat me and someone 8cm shorter than me. He could become 176cm with quadrilateral without really pushing past the safe limits. Huge difference for sure.
What do you want me to do lol? Force him to put a picture out there for everyone to see? This isn’t the clinic online that somehow entices all its patients to show before and after. This kid values his discretion. Would you showcase your before and after?
Just why??? just they don't get better than usa doesn't mean if the USA has the better place than turkey then it will have better at everything I have read on Google comment review about Dr paley LL they say this place is a bad place to visit, they don't care me after the surgery it does and much more bla 5, you can check and see. everywhere in the world's has the risk actually even if you has the best place in the world's the things is that you need to choice and decided which one has the lowest and very less risky in LL surgery I say that because afa limb lengthening seems to be affective in turkey as well as the cheaper price I am not saying the most place in the turkey but afa I see it seems one of those I looking for......
I went through this surgery with a fully weight bearing nail. I find this story hard to believe and it’s either full of exaggerations or outright lies.
That’s awesome man. But I’m not exaggerating or lying at all I’m just reporting the facts from his journal in the discord. There were a few who healed their bones fast but only a few who walked normally so fast and none as athletic as him that I’ve come across in the hundreds of stature patients I’ve talked to. He’s just different
@@Cyborg4Life Victor, I would never accuse you of lying. You’re a big reason I went through with my surgery. I am forever thankful for your content. You’ve always been very honest about this process. What I am saying is I’m not sure this patient is telling you the truth about his recovery. I know you’re the messenger and I’m definitely not accusing you of anything. I appreciate all you are doing for the LL community.
@@scottsanett I feel great. I was fortunate to not suffer any complications really. I would go through this surgery again without hesitation. I lengthened 6.5cm using a full-weight bearing nail. I didn’t feel 95% or better until about 60 days after I got the nails removed @17 months. I felt around 90% recovered by 12-15 months. There are just so many little things you have to regain….mainly strength. Here’s the deal…As you go through the healing process you’ll believe you’re more recovered than you are. For example I may have thought I was 70% or 80% recovered @6 months because I went from broken legs to slowly running/walking without aids. As I slowly regained my athleticism over the next 6 months (7-12 month mark) I realized I was not 70%-80% healed when I thought was previously. I overestimated it. Does this make sense? This is a common mistake people make when assessing their recovery progress.
@@rockyroad8442 Thanks - makes perfect sense. I'm planning to do both femur and tibia to lengthen 4 inches in total when the precise full weight-bearing nail comes out. Glad to know that you're doing well!
Anyone who has a channel where they document this journey in full? Possibly someone who has undergone at least a couple years recovery? Always find shotty filming and unreliable progress, leading me to believe that people aren’t truly recovering as they would like us to believe.
Just wait till you see the LL documentary I'm working on with Rich Rotella that we're filming at the Paley Institute. He also has hit very close to full recovery - running, jumping, dancing and working out. It's in 4k and whole thing is quality. Should be out next year ; )
Thanks! Yeah that’s the goal. Rich and I spoke today. We’re planning to film his nail removal mid December then start talks with streaming services soon after. He’s the mastermind behind all the Hollywood stuff 😅
As mentioned just the messenger here lol. He wrote detailed updates and I just summarized his overall experience for this video. I’ve seen around 5 patients out of several walk in under 5 months with p2 but normally usually was 6 months he just seemed to be an extreme outlier
He’s planning mail removal soon. That’s probably why he dropped back in discord to update. Most fully recovered patients will come back only when they think about it otherwise they’re fully invested in their new life. He can only get better when nails are removed by starting martial arts and parkour
I know my question might be a bit strange, I'm just curious if undergoing LL surgery would affect our reproduction? I mean, let's say I want to start a family and hope to have children with my wife. Will this surgery affect it? Thanks
